Lovely weekend in ADK

Our group enjoyed a wonderful stay and enjoyed hiking during the day and cooking in the evening together.

Everything about the property was excellent. Instructions were clear and easy and the owner was very responsive. The house was in great shape, was comfortable, clean and spacious, and very well stocked with kitchen items and firewood. We enjoyed playing ping pong and going kayaking. Will hopefully stay here again!

Family vacation

We brought our college aged kids and a couple of their friends with us for a few days. All in all it was a great experience. I wish I had known there wasn’t a tv…not to sit there all day….but for them to play games as a group or all sit and watch a movie at night. Because we cook a lot and bring all of our food with us, I just wished that there were a few more utensils available.

7 Snowmobilers for one week. It is a perfect cabin for mid-winter snowmobilers. Plenty of space for 6 - 10 guys to relax, eat and unwind after a great day of riding. The guy who snow plowed the driveway did a great job and we had plenty of room to park 4 trucks with trailers. we had an issue with the incoming water line being frozen so we had no running water. the owner was absolutely fantastic about the situation. gave us a 50% refund and reimbursed me for all the water we had to buy. he was very cordial and easy to work with, Great Person ! This was our 3rd winter season there and looking forward to going back next year. It has all the amenities we needed for cooking, cleaning, sleeping and relaxing. Love the pellet stove. could use more eating utensils ( forks, knives and spoons). you also have to bring your own TV if you want to watch the Olympics, football games or a movie.

Snowmobile trip 2024

A group of friends, five of us stayed at the cabin and snowmobile the area. What cabin was very nice. Only suggestions we have is that a TV would be really nice as we brought our own so we could have television to watch in the evening. They’re also needs to be more furniture in the common area as although it says it sleeps 11 there is really not room for people to sit comfortably in the common area if there really were 11 people there Addition of a toaster and upgrading, the coffee maker would also be nice.

Great escape from reality!

We had an absolute blast at this residence, river side with plenty of property to explore with children. Less than 5 mins down the road there was a perfect little diner/ convenience store! Inside the home was exactly as the pictures show! An amazing cozy wooden home with updated appliances. Zip line and ping pong for the kids along with a large selection of board games stored from the owners. Although this property didn’t have a tv, it was truly the perfect weekend escape away from the “real world” without any outside distractions! We will 100% be back to this residence!

Eclipse Trip

The location, house, and property were awesome. It would have been helpful to have some written instructions for operation of some of the equipment in the house (ceiling lights/fans, pellet stove, dishwasher). We did figure everything out, but it would have saved some time. Everyone agreed, the dishwasher has to go.

Tampa snowmobiler

Good location for 8 min trailer to the trailhead to snowmobile. Big open living space. Ice builds up on the front step from dripping eves. Some available salt would be nice. I took my hammer to bust off 79% of the build up. The snow power needs to know to keep the driveway entrance wide, as it is not easy to back a Tandem axle trailer in when it’s only wide enough for a car

Very beautiful home

Home and property were beautiful and had plenty of room, we aged 4 to 50s, and everyone absolutely loved the porch, dock for fishing and yard. Unfortunately, life does happen with houses, owners kept us updated and really tried to fix the issue, it was out of anyone's control and we worked with the situation and still enjoyed our time. Without asking, they compensated , as they also felt bad about the situation. Ive rented a lot from companies and private owners over the last 12 years and you do not find people like this very often. I would highly recommend this property.Every aspect was positive. As we were a large group, the only thing I could think of that would make things easier, for larger groups, is maybe a few extra pots and pans. I always bring my own and a crock pot, as I know I cook large meals for us. smaller groups, it would be perfect.A BIG shout out to June, who made the amazing book and map of the property, with suggestions and hints to enjoy your stay, Anything and everything you needed was in there, we used it and found it so helpful. Thank you for sharing your home, being wonderful owners, and allowing us to make more great memories!

We had a fantastic stay here! Our whole family (grandparents, 3 adult children and 6 grandchildren) absolutely loved the amenities and all that this property offered. Kids ranged in age from infant to 12 with the majority 9 and under. The water was accessible but with a huge rolling yard between the waters edge and the house, it made it feel very safe with all of the little ones. Plenty of water activities to do: tubes for riding down the river (a huge hit for us!), plenty of kayaks to use and fishing off the dock (you’ll need to bring your own equipment for this). We were never bored!! A huge beautiful deck facing the water (but also wraps around the whole house and the kids loved running laps) was also well-used by our group. A bonus area in the garage with a ping pong table was the kids favorite place to hang out during downtimes. Such a relaxing atmosphere inside and out. Probably our only concern was the inability to cool the upstairs room where the majority of kids slept along with 2 adults. We brought bigger fans with us and that made it doable but still warm. But other than that, we wouldn’t change a thing and everyone wants to go back next year!!

Zimmer waren in Ordnung. Kühlschrank wurde nicht gereinigt und das Bad war auch sehr rein. Ort ist in Ordnung und die Gegend umist auch sehr schön. Leider hatten wir sehr viele schnacken.
