The Homestead leje er bekvemt placeret kun 400 fødder op en sidegade fra havnen i det historiske centrum af landsbyen Efraim. De tre værelses ranch stil hjem sover op til 6 personer, herunder spædbørn og børn, og har udsigt over Eagle Harbor og landsbyen marina fra forsiden panoramavindue. Det er kun en kort gåtur til den familievenlige Ephraim Public Beach. Hvert værelse har en queensize-seng. Et ombygget badekar med bruseniche og et halvt bad. Håndklæder og sengelinned er til rådighed. Køkkenet blev nyligt renoveret og indeholder en rækkevidde, køleskab, opvaskemaskine og mikrobølgeovn, 10-12 kop kaffemaskine, crock-pot, tallerkener, kopper, briller og køkkengrej. Homestead inkluderer WIFI, kabel-tv og parkering til 2 køretøjer. Udenfor gårdhave er der stole, bord og gasgrill. Brug af kajen overfor Water Street Inn er fantastisk til solnedgange og solbadning. Fall color visit

My parents came out from Oregon for the fall colors. We had a fantastic time! The cottage was perfect, and very well appointed. There was nothing we needed that wasn’t already there. Everything was very clean and the beds were very comfortable.

Fall Break

We wanted a short fall break for our family. The homestead perfectly met our needs. The location of Ephraim was ideal because it allowed us to visit Sister Bay, Peninsula State Park, Fish Creek and of course, Ephraim. The homestead was very comfortable and met all of our needs. We enjoyed snacks provided by the host upon arrival. Instructions were clearly marked throughout the house and Checkin process very easy.

The Homestead Rental was fantastic, we all agree we would definitely stay there again. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, and the hosts have thought of every possible small detail to make your stay pleasant. That along with the location will put this home at the top of our list for trips to Door County!

Enjoyed our stay at Homestead Rental. Great location, comfortable, clean accommodations and great hosts! We had a thoughtful welcome gift waiting when we arrived and Diane went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of!

Great home and host

Excellent house in the heart of Ephraim. Walking distance to all Ephraim restaurants and the waterfront. The house has an awesome view of the water in the distance from the living room. The host was very responsive, the house was clean, and it had all the cooking items we needed. I would stay here again.

Homey and comfortable

What a lovely stay we had. Diane was so responsive and easy to work with. Our stay was comfortable and relaxing. Everything we needed was there in the home. Clean and tidy, close to everything. A note and welcome gift, too. A great place to stay!

The location was perfect. Great access point, centrally located. Beautiful view. Home was extremely clean, great space, host Diane did a wonderful job communicating and left some really nice gifts and touches for us as guests! I would book again.

Great location, very clean and cute home

We had a great 2 night stay just in time to see the peak fall colors! The house was exactly as expected and very well kept. We were welcomed with a basket of goodies and a personal note from Diane and Larry. House had lake views and was in a nice spot. Highly recommend!!

Great home base for exploring Door County

The Homestead Rental in Ephraim was a great central location for exploring all Door County has to offer. It was the perfect size for my wife and I and the two other couples (friends) we were traveling with. When we arrived, it was great that the lights were left on for us, so we didn't need to hunt for light switches right away. We were surprised and really appreciated the welcome gift of snacks and Door County cookbooks. Having access to the dock and gazebo for watching sunsets was great. Sitting and relaxing on the patio was wonderful each evening. While the building seem a bit older, it was well kept and clean. The WiFi worked great and we all appreciated the abundance of hot water. Will definitely consider staying here again on our next visit to Door County.

Friends Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and comfortable and provided for our needs. So thoughtful of Diane and Larry to leave a gift basket. We would definitely recommend this house as an inviting place to stay in a quiet area within walking distance to the water and to restaurants.

quiet neighborhood

It was a quiet place/neighborhood so that was nice. The home was clean and as advertised. We liked it a lot and would certainly stay there again...and plan to!

Great little house

The three bedrooms each with a queen bed did it for us, as did the location. Everything we needed in the house. Peaceful patio and so centrally located in Ephraim. Will be back.

End of Summer Family Vacation

FANTASTIC SPACE, FANTASTIC PLACE!!

Our family has come to Door Co a number of times over the years; however, we knew we didn’t want to have a hotel/condo with our adult children staying with us. We found this home available thru VRBO & the hostess stayed in touch throughout. We got to Ephraim later than we had planned but Diane had left snacks & a welcome letter which was so appreciated at that time in the evening. Every room was spacious, the kitchen had plenty of room for any cooking we did & there was plenty of seating in the living room when we wound down at night. It was unusually warm during our stay so the individual A/C units were great! Our family truly enjoyed our stay & highly recommend this property to anyone considering it!!

Perfect location

The Homestead home was perfect for our family week in Door County. The rooms were all a good size to fit 6 adults and one baby. Although there is no dining room, we managed to eat 2 dinners in the kitchen area. We really enjoyed eating on the patio and cooking a few meals on the grill. The highlight each evening was walking down to the dock to watch the sunset or walking to Wilson’s for an ice cream! The location is centrally located to visit the small towns and the State Park.

Great Experience

We wanted a vrbo since we have a 3.5 year old and an 11 month old so they each had their own room and we had a kitchen to prepare meals and snacks for them. The house was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our experience! This location does not have infant sleep accommodations so we brought the pack n’ play tor our littlest one to sleep in, not something I thought about until after booking so just an fyi!

Beautiful house in Ephraim close to the beach and shops

We were very pleased with our stay at this very well kept and cozy home. The hosts obviously have taken very good care of the home and have made nice updates. We were 2 blocks from the beach and from really nice stores. We will definitely return next year! Thanks Diane and Larry!

This home has been in our family since it was first built in 1950 by my Grandparents. We have been updating the home every year since 2016.
My husband and I are full time residents who live 2 miles away and are available for any spur of the moment concerns. Our love of Door County keeps us here Year-round although we do travel to see our grandchildren in the winter.

Our comfortable rental home is right in the middle of the historic district in Ephraim. By car we are also centrally located on the peninsula to beaches, wineries, trolley tours, outdoor activities, and all the breathtaking scenery in Door County. Off the main Highway you can relax and still be close to everything going on.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

The Homestead is one of the few rental homes in downtown Ephraim with private shore and pier access just a short walk away. The sunsets are breathtaking. We also have use of a pool, but you must bring your own towels. The Ephraim Public Beach is 2 blocks away. It is the cleanest, safest, family friendly sand beach in Door County. Historic Wilson's Ice Cream Parlor is a block away.
