Nyd din flugt på Loring. Ideelt beliggende direkte mellem First and Second Beach (knap 1 km til hver, selvom meget mindre end det til Second, hvis du kan finde den hemmelige sti). Bare en 5 minutters førerhus eller uber ride til centrum af Newport. Stille, slutningen af cul de sac placering får dig til at føle dig isoleret, på trods af at du er i nærheden af alt hvad du har brug for. Let gåafstand til surfbutikker og restauranter i Middletown. Rummeligt, to-plan dæk perfekt til grillning og underholdning. Stor velholdt baghave komplet med opholdsområde og vandfunktion. Dette sted handler om det udendørs rum, og du har svært ved at finde en bedre plads. Billederne gør det ikke retfærdigt. Surfingboards / cykel / Stand up paddle boards fås efter anmodning.

Sonos udstyret lydsystem (både indvendigt og udvendigt) sikrer, at din yndlingssang altid er kun et IPhone-klik væk, uanset hvor du er på ejendommen. To udendørs ildhuller gør det nemt at holde det sjove i gang efter at solen går ned (selv i vintermånederne!)

Det lyse, rummelige interiør er for nylig blevet renoveret og møbleret med yderligere fotos tilgængelige efter anmodning. Masser af naturligt lys hele dagen. Splinterny 60 "buet skærm HDTV og en stor snit sofa med masser af plads til alle at strække ud og slappe af.

Great stay!

The owner Matt was super helpful and quick to respond with any questions before or after the stay! We stayed with a small bachelorette group and had a great time. Close to town but far enough to be a quiet spot to come back to. Plenty of room in the house and was very clean. Best part was speakers throughout the house and the big open deck in the backyard!

Great Newport Getaway

We had a group of 10 people staying at Matt's house for a bachelorette weekend and we had a great time! The house is close to Downtown Newport and was very comfortable. Matt was awesome to communicate with. Would reccommend!

Incredible Stay

Matt’s property was perfect for our group of 8! We had a lowkey bachelorette weekend & thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house. Sonos was a highlight as was the deck and outside area. Very well kept and a perfect size for a large group. Matt was incredibly responsive & a great (and understanding) host, especially with dealing with our self inflicted mishaps. Would recommend to anyone & especially groups looking to easily get back and forth from downtown Newport! Staying outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown was peaceful yet the location was convenient enough that we did not feel we were too far away. 100% would stay again!

Great stay!

This house was a perfect fit for my friends & I! The house was very clean & in a nice quiet neighborhood. Matt was excellent providing several recommendations for things to do, restaurants etc. & always got back to us in a timely manner. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful home for a girls weekend!

We booked this house for a girls weekend in Newport and had a wonderful stay! The house was spacious, clean, and close to beaches and shops! The check in was seamless and the hosts did a wonderful job answering our questions and giving us recommendations! Highly recommend the house and will be back!

Great last minute available big house - perfect location

After another VRBO host cancelled a 6-bedroom house on me 3 weeks before my son's wedding (on Boat Show weekend!), I was bereft and panicked. Matt could not have been nicer and more accommodating. The Middletown location was perfect - plenty of parking, quiet neighborhood and minutes from the rehearsal dinner and church. It turned out to be very nice NOT to be in the chaos and traffic of downtown Newport. House is lovely and clean and the backyard goes forever. Thank you for all of your help, Matt.

Amazing Property, Location and Host Communication

I spent a long weekend at this property to celebrate my birthday with seven of my girlfriends. The exterior of the property is very beautiful, with nicely groomed grass, two beautiful patios, an outdoor shower, and a set of outdoor furniture and table for eight. The inside is very clean, cozy, and comfortable. The decor features earthy tones, making it feel clear and comfortable. The location was great – close to the cliff walk, the beach, and restaurants. The host, Matt, was very communicative, answered all of our questions, and gave us great recommendations. We are definitely coming back; we had a blast.

Great location, great host, but house condition disappointed.

I rented the home for 4 nights for a family reunion consisting of 4 adults and 5 kids (4 of which are teenagers), and my overall impression was disappointing. Matt our host was great and very accommodating and communicative throughout entire process, but we were dissatisfied with our overall experience because we did not enjoy the condition of the home. The photos show a very clean, updated and tastefully decorated space, however there are areas that were not. Some were dirty: carpeted indoor staircase, the outdoor furniture, garages, trash receptacle areas, wasp nest), some were broken or not working properly: (front entry step hazardously detached, broken or missing window screens, some towels/linens (ripped or bleach stained), dishwasher and dryer would not close without being propped), and due to summer high humidity and NO central air conditioning, the basement living area felt damp and had a musty, pet odor (there is a dog cage in dining room), and only 1 of our children was willing to sleep or stay in the basement and ended up crashing on the upstairs living room floor for 4 nights. Before posting this review I contacted the host with a complete list of concerns, and my in-laws shared their own experience of dissatisfaction separately. I have been using short term rentals for years, and Matt has all the qualities of an excellent of host. I believe he is eager and committed to remedy the issues above. With attention to detail, clean up and fixing these problems, I think he has the potential to make his rental a great value for your Middletown/Newport experience in the future.

Had a blast!

We had a blast at Matt's house in Newport. He was the most helpful host I've ever been in contact with and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. The house is quaint and charming - and the outdoor deck is awesome! This house is great for families or groups of friends.

Awesome place close to downtown Newport

Perfect place to stay with a big group! I was here with a group of 9 for a wedding so we didn't get to spend too much time on the property which was a bummer since the backyard is fantastic! Matt was so great about communicating prior to our check in. Our group was in the wedding party and Matt was able to accomodate an early check-in so we could get ready at the house prior to the rehearsal dinner. The property itself is super close to the beaches and just a short ride into downtown Newport. I'll def keep this place in mind for any future Newport trips and would recommend to any families or groups looking for a nice getaway to Newport. Thanks for having us!!

House exceed the listing expectations !! More beds then listed very clean, and so much to offer!! . Only down fall was the shower water pressure with 10 people it took a long time. Will definitely book again !

PERFECT.

WHERE SHOULD I BEGIN? Myself along with 9 other ladies stayed at this property the weekend of July19-21, 2019! Let me tell you, planning a trip for this many is not the easiest thing to do! Luckily, I had Matt (the owner of the property) on my side! He was so beyond great and helpful! Every question I had, and believe me I had a ton, he answered so quickly and attentively! Also had great suggestions on where to go! The house was located in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful deck and yard!! The inside of the house was decorated in modern beach/vacation themed. Everything was up to date and even had a speaker we could hook up music right from our phones! In addition to all of these great things, we were only about 5 minutes from the beach, and 10 minutes from the center of Newport and also the nearby vineyards! This home really has everything that we needed all wrapped up into one, and I would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking to visit the Newport area. I would not hesitate to rent this home or from Matt in the future! Thank you so much again!

Great guy

We rented this place for my all of my groomsmen plus a few other for wedding weekend and it couldn’t have been a better experience. Matt had the place super clean, updated and even left out some drinks for my guys. We felt like we could relax and enjoy ourselves and matt did a great job of communicating his expectations so that we could be respectful of the home. Overall best experience.

Perfect weekend getaway!

What an amazing stay! Matt’s place comfortably slept myself and 6 girlfriends and was in excellent proximity to the beaches and lots of activities in downtown Newport! We really enjoyed having a nice big yard, great deck, and use of the fire pit. The house was clean and well stocked with the essentials. Matt was an excellent communicator and had so many great suggestions for dining and activities in the area. I would highly recommend this property to anyone, it was the perfect place for a weekend getaway with a group!

Good location, good for big groups, a little disappointed

I stayed here with a group of 10 girls for the weekend. The house had everything we needed and fit all of us. The backyard was huge. Matt was very accommodating and provided us with recommendations for activities and dining in Newport. The weekend we stayed was very hot and we were not aware there was only one window AC unit and two fans. Each of the bedrooms had a ceiling fan, but the temperature in the house was very uncomfortable. Especially with a house full of people making it warmer. It's fine that the house didn't have central air, but with a limited number of fans I just wish I had known to check into this before and would have brought some more. I was also disappointed with state of the house upon arrival. The condition of the house was not as we expected based on the pictures including the water feature was run down, outdoor cushions dirty, moldy coffee maker, wet carpet from carpets being shampooed shortly before we arrived. Overall we had a great weekend with the house being in a central location to downtown Newport. Thank you!

The house was exactly what we were looking for (:

I stayed in this house with a group of girls for my sister's bachelorette party. The house was just a short uber ride to downtown Newport and the yard was great for hanging out and playing some lawn games. We fit 10 of us. It was a bit of a squeeze, but we didn't mind since we are all friends. The best parts of the house are the living area and the backyard. The house owner, Matthew was very nice and super helpful. He gave multiple helpful suggestions of things to do in Newport and was very quick to answer any questions that we might have had about the area or the house.

Perfect spot for a girls weekend!

Matthew’s spot was perfect for our girls weekend! Enough privacy but still only a 5 minute ride downtown. The yard was awesome and Matt was very easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again!!

Bachlorette Weekend

This house, location, and the host, Matt, were amazing. I organized a group of 11 girls for my sister's bachlorette on a weekend that didn't have great weather. We made the most out of Friday night by using the backyard and awesome deck. Saturday, we had made alternative plans but Matt texted me a few rainy day ideas which was appreciated. The house can comfortably fit a lot of people and is quick/ cheap drive into town. I recommend and will try to come back :)

Running for the thrill of it

Sweet space! A group of my friends and I were headed to the Newport area for a half marathon. Matt's place couldn't have been better for our weekend trip. The house had everything we needed and it was in the perfect location for us. The house was great, and even though we did not get to use it to much the background is awesome!! Place is very clean as well :) Thanks for a stellar place for a group of friends to gather at! Hope to return!

Great location, close to the beach with a wonderful outdoor space.

My large family rented this house for our annual summer week in R.I. and we had a wonderful stay. This house was perfected located for us, close to Second Beach and a few minute drive to downtown Newport. The house was clean, very well kept, and the owner couldn't have been more hospitable. In the evening we enjoyed the fire pit, roasting marshmallows with the kids and relaxing in home's great outdoor space. We would love to return in the future.

Great house for a group getaway!

I recently rented Matt's property for a girls weekend/bachelorette party and we had a great time. The house is a great size for a good crowd (we had about 13 people throughout the course of the weekend) and it's in a very central location to Newport-- just a short uber away. Matt was a great host who sent us recommendations for bars and restaurants before we arrived and was attentive via text while we were there. We all had plenty of space indoors but truthfully spent most of our time outside in the amazing backyard...So spacious and lovely! We had a great weekend away and I hope to have the chance to visit again in the near future. Thank you, Matt, for everything!
