The stay went very well, and we loved the pools, property, and room. Communication with Southern Rentals was very good, too. Only two things to caution are that (1) that mushroom fountain is extremely loud and the sound decibels from our balcony went from 45dB before it turns from 8am to 10:30pm to 70dB once it’s on - we found it difficult to have a normal conversation on the balcony due to it. (2) is do not get to the condo early, as you cannot get into the room until the check in time no matter what.

Family vacay

We enjoyed our stay at Waterscape. Our room was comfortable and clean with a perfect view of the gulf and the pools. Waterscape is the best condominium we have stayed at in a long time. Excellent amenities for all ages.

Family Get Together

We really loved the view and how clean the property was! The kitchen was well stocked with supplies all we had to bring was food. We really loved how the rooms were spacious and with their own bathrooms. The kids loved the pools and how easy it was to get to the beach. We will definitely be back!

Amazing vacation

Our condo was right on the beach. Everything was clean and nice. View was beautiful. The pools and outdoor activities were more than we could have imagined. Pictures online do not do this place justice. Also, every person working was extra friendly. Will be back next year.

Waterscape A510

Well-maintained and outfitted condo. Good view of beach and pool. Highly stressful check-in with Southern Vacation Rentals when door code didn’t work, took 2 phone calls to resolve. New mattress needed on queen size bed, way too soft.

kitchen and dryer need help

The location, property amenities, and view are fab. Although this particular unit isn't well stocked in kitchen. The space is too little if you are cooking and the dryer barely works. I had to dry our towels multiple times to get them dry.

Awesome Stay

We stayed in A510 at Waterscape in Fort Walton Beach over Easter holiday. Our family of four had a great time. The unit was clean enough and had all the utensils we needed to cook our meals. We had a great view of the pool area and we could see the beach and ocean. Our only complaint was the tv in the living room is old and the screen has weird lighting inside the screen. Not a huge deal but that thing should probably be replaced. The pools were all great albeit the water a little cold in mid April. The beach was the best I’ve ever seen. Awesome sand, nice waves, shallow water for kids. And we found beach chairs with umbrella with no problem every morning (complementary for our condo). Overall a really nice time. We would definitely go back to this unit/ property.

Enjoyed our Stay!

This property and location was perfect! The deck was great to sit out and have coffee in the mornings, see the ocean and hear it. Pool was directly below which was nice watching all the kids activities. The condo was spacious and fully stocked with utensils and cookware. Only down fall was property only providing enough toiletries, dish soap for 24 hours. No hand soaps. Extra expense to plan for. Dryer was not good. A load of towels took 6 times running. If you only put 2-3 towels in then they’ll dry after twice running. Mold in the ceiling of the shower, and vents, lack of extra bedding, tv was outdated in master bedroom, no batteries in the remotes. Would stay here again. Again the location, made it worth it! Responses to questions were prompt!

Perfect location!

The listing description was spot on and the pictures were very accurate! We loved the resort and this specific unit was amazingly centrally located so that we could see the beach and watch our older kids at any area of the pool decks from our patio. We love the fact the buildings are only 6 stories with a LOT of elevators located throughout... 2 to choose from just a few doors down in either direction of this unit. Overall this unit was quite spacious for our family of 6 and the bunk area was more spacious than I thought it would be. Each of the bedrooms also had access to the patio as well as the family room. Only negatives we had.... the kitchen is pretty small and not a lot of counter space to work with or cabinet storage. The laundry closet is right there as well but no storage in there either so we actually had to move around some dishes to crate space for a week's worth of food but we managed. As for dishes, cookware, etc... the basics are there but again, with the lack of storage, they don't have a lot of the extras like mixing bowls, serving pieces, etc. Not too big of a deal depending on what you might need. Overall, we were extremely pleased and would definitely stay here again.

Disappointed

We have been to Waterscape 3 times and this is our least favorite place to stay. We will never stay here again. You can tell the place is an investment property because it is worn and needs some work. The walls and trim have a ton of marks on them- looks really beat up. The furniture is second hand so it is not very nice or comfortable. The couches are not nice to relax in. The beds have indentation marks from all the previous people that have slept in them- also not comfortable. The outdoor furniture is really beat up. One chair’s leg is bent so you cannot use it, another is all ripped up, and the actual table has a leg that isn't even attached. All of the dishes seemed like they were from the dollar store and the kitchen wasn't equipped with certain things one would need to cook like cooking sheets or spatula. Also the floors seemed dirty when we arrived. Oh yeah and the front door is really hard to shut and lock- they need to fix that. If you are coming just for the amenities Waterscape has and not the comforts of home then I guess this is the place for you.

Waterscape A510 10/11/24-10/15/24

This is our 2nd stay at Waterscape but first time in this specific unit. Overall we enjoyed our stay, just a few things to mention. Very small kitchen with no pantry storage so if you have lots of snacks, etc there is nowhere to store it and there’s minimal counter space. There is a coffee maker but it would’ve been nice to know if it was a regular one vs keurig. There are no pot holders, all the pots and pans stick, the dryer doesn’t work well so you have to dry the same load of clothes at least twice, three times if it’s towels. The front door doesn’t shut easily, you have to pull or push it shut when you leave. There was a stain in the master shower on the ceiling that looked like mold and the toilet in master bath is loose. When we first arrived we noticed the floor was dirty because our feet were black just after a few minutes of walking around. The only smart tv is in one of the bedrooms, not in the living room where it would be expected. The bed in the master room is very loud! You can’t turn over without it sounding like you are moving the whole bed. Lastly, to be “family friendly“ there’s no kid friendly anything (dishes, games, etc) . I would also consider changing checkout to 10am or later.

Home away from home

Most was Good, I can say that if you need help all you do is call them, and they get back to you soon!👍 I would think to have some new cooking pans and a few more spatulas, to cook with, a better stove if your able to do that✌🏼 And put a sliding door on the bed room ! Closest to the kitchen👍 But we still had a good time💜 the beds are good! Nice and comfortable:)

Great stay

Family of 5 with teenagers - clean condo with comfortable beds - great beach with service of umbrella and 2 chairs - clean and nice pool area - overall a great place to stay. Only suggestion would be that the bunk bed area is right next to kitchen, a privacy curtain would be nice for the beds. Trying not to wake up the kids in the morning when making coffee was near impossible with kitchen light shining right on them.

Beautiful Resort

We had a wonderful week in unit 510A. The pools and beach area are awesome. The condo building and pool areas are very well taken care off. The condo itself is great has all you need. The view is of the pools and ocean are beautiful. My only suggestion is to paint the trim, its well over due and the kitchen floor needs a major scrubbing.

We will be back

The kids were so overjoyed and had the best time! My husband and I loved it as well as everything was very close, and the kids pretty much entertained themselves! We look forward to coming back in 2020!!

Very nice stay

A great condo very nice we enjoyed our stay so much! The kitchen could use a few more pans and potholders but overall we loved our stay.

Waterscape 510A stay

Great experience! Only issues were bedroom fan on the right when entering door made a lot of noise and not enough "pantry" space. Otherwise, everything was wonderful!

Overall, it was a wonderful experience. This was our first time at Watterscapes, and we loved it. We'll definitely be back!
