Step back in time as you enter the Palais Abbatial, the residence of the Abbot of Maizières, dating back to the 12th century.

The three-hectare park offers a lush, soothing oasis, in perfect harmony with the palace. A stone wall surrounds the property, ensuring the tranquility of the grounds, which are entirely separate from the castle.

Both romantic and inspiring, this place has everything to offer. A vineyard, gardens, and a pond create a charming setting. The tennis court and the pool house—complete with a swimming pool and spa (sauna/jacuzzi)—perfectly complement the property and promise unforgettable moments.

Completely renovated and tastefully furnished, the abbatial palace features five spacious bedrooms and suites, including two family suites (each with two double beds).Families of up to 14 people can stay at the palace.

The rooms are equipped with a desk, a walk-in closet, and a private bathroom with a shower and/or bathtub and a separate toilet. The linen bedding and bath towels are made in France and are of the highest quality.

Featuring a splendid quarter-size grand piano, the entryway of this residence leads to the bedrooms via a magnificent solid-wood staircase.


The Lacanche kitchen, in elegant and modern shades of gray, is fully equipped to professional standards (oven, steamer, microwave, food warmer, refrigerator, freezer, salamander, plancha, dishwasher, bean-to-cup coffee machine, and kettle…). The main dining room and its terrace overlooking the park feature a large oval table that seats 14 people, while the winter dining room—more intimate and cozy—has a table that seats 10.

To relax, two lounges are at your disposal: a home theater lounge on the first floor with large, plush sofas and a spacious library lounge upstairs.
