Gone Coastal was a great property! Away from the hustle and bustle, but so close to everything! Walking to the ocean was a quick few-minute walk! To access the downstairs, you need to go outside to get to the lower level. Since is was so nice out, there were no issues. Access to the beach chairs and wagon was perfect for us taking out stuff over to the beach for the day. We also were able to lounge in the sun and by & in the pool to watch our favorite teams play Saturday football on the outdoor TV. My one suggestion, take extra toilet paper and paper towels with you, or you’ll buy some at the store!

House was very nice and well maintained. Clean and the owners were great to work with. Walking distance to the beach and pool outback were our families favorites!

House was wonderful. We appreciated all of the beach items it had and how close it was to the nearest grocery store. It was easy to make a quick meal or find a place to eat. Great location - about a block from the beach and away from the really busy areas. We also loved the pool area and outdoor space. We did have to grab more toilet paper and detergent, but that wasn’t a problem. Great stay!

House was very nice - clean, lots of space. Short walk to beach - wagon, beach toys, chairs, umbrella all provided. Check-in and communication with host company quick and easy. Enjoyed the pool. Overall we had a great time!

The facility was great, and the location was only five minutes from the beach. Our only issue was with the air conditioning. When we arrived, water was leaking from both AC units, so we had to purchase a wet/dry vacuum to clean it up.We were told someone would come by to install a portable AC unit. However, despite calling the host multiple times over several days, no one ever showed up. The temperature inside never dropped below 77 degrees, but we were compensated for the inconvenience.Even with the AC issues, we still had a great time and made the best of our stay

The property was located conveniently near the town, but on a nice quiet street. Easy walk to the beach. Spacious and well appointed. Grandkids loved the pool!

The house was exactly as pictured, very clean and comfortable for our group of 9 (7 adults, 2 kids). My family of 4 took the downstairs "family bedroom". The location was convenient to the beach, downtown, restaurants and the grocery store. The screened in patio saved us from the no-seeums and mosquitoes when using the pool and hanging out on the patio. Not having an indoor staircase connecting the upstairs and downstairs was a bit odd but wasn't really a problem for us. We only needed to go upstairs to cook with the stove/oven since the downstairs had a fridge, keurig, sink and microwave. The house even provided a huge basket of beach towels. We went to Lover's Key State Park which was worth the walk from the parking lot and the 8 fee. We also drove over to Sanibel in about 35min for the lighthouse and Bowman's beach(also a good walk from the parking lot). As an added bonus, Costco and Total Wine were convenient stops on the way in from RSW airport as well. If we visit the area again we would definitely stay at Gone Coastal again. Sun Palace was really easy to work with and answered all my questions quickly.

The house was very nice, clean, well decorated, and super functional. The stove, showers, dishwasher, wash machine, and dryer all working well! If you are staying for more than a couple days, you might need toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, and garbage bags. They only provide a couple. The host company responded quickly to our messages. We were there when it was record low temperatures so the pool had a hard time heating and the outdoor fire table was not in working condition. Very short walk to the beach and 2ish mile walk to restaurants and bars. Overall, it was a great stay and we would stay again.

Clean, lots of space, great location, plenty of parking, small but nice pool. Upstairs air conditioning had a hard time keeping up with outside temperatures…inside temps reached 82 degrees despite ac being on and set to 74. Would catch up in evening and nights were okay. Ceiling fans really helped during the day. Small oven and galley kitchen but worked great. Pay attention to what supplies are offered so you bring what you need (e.g., laundry soap, trash bags, toilet paper, etc.). Upstairs and downstairs separated…need to use outside steps to transition between them. Downstairs newly remodeled and very nice, but only a microwave down there. Beds were very comfortable and linen was nice. We had a great time.
