Retreat into the natural wonders of Midcoast Maine at this three-bedroom Waldoboro home, a scenic woodland escape with a gorgeous riverfront position, a game room with a foosball table, and an outdoor patio with a private firepit.

Beautifully secluded by a grouping of evergreen trees, this two-level home overlooks a nature preserve and enjoys 300 feet of frontage on an inlet of Broad Cove. You'll be within kayaking distance of Muscongus Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, five miles south of shops and restaurants on Main Street in Waldoboro, and 21 miles west of the charming working port of Rockland.

Step inside to find a spacious living area with hardwood floors, partial air conditioning, and furnishings that are simple and comfortable. Come home from an afternoon walk to choose a novel from the bookshelves, recline on the soft leather sofa, and use the WiFi to investigate the tides and kayaking conditions.

Begin each morning by preparing pancakes, eggs, and toast in the well-equipped kitchen, where you'll find generous cabinet space, a French press, and a blender for your specialty coffee and smoothies. Sit down with your loved ones at the dining room table before heading outside to explore the Midcoast.

Choose a spot to launch your kayak on the 300-foot tidal riverfront, and spend the morning paddling between islands in Muscongus Bay. Come home to enjoy local lobsters on the gas grill, cold drinks at the patio table, and S'mores roasted around the firepit. Back inside, you can catch a movie on the TV in the living room, or head downstairs for a foosball tournament in the basement game room.

With three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, Midcoast Serenity will accommodate everyone comfortably. The bedrooms are cozy and well-lit, offering one California king-size bed, one queen-size bed, and one double bed, respectively. Additional amenities include a tub/shower combination in each of the two bathrooms, as well as three more TVs for your viewing pleasure.

Thanks to its wonderfully private and natural setting, this Waldoboro home is ideal for nature lovers, outdoor enthusiasts, and travelers in search of rest and relaxation. Gaze out of your windows to see the tidal river and the neighboring nature preserve, and take short drives into Waldoboro to stroll along Main Street and sit down for meals at the legendary Moody's Diner.

When you're not exploring Broad Cove and Muscongus Bay, you'll be just 21 miles from the beloved restaurants and scenic breakwater in downtown Rockland. Grab a delicious breakfast at the Home Kitchen Cafe, drive an additional 10 miles north to soak in the incredible coastal views at Camden Hills State Park, and marvel at the nearby harbors of Camden and Rockport at sunset.

Your escape to Midcoast Maine begins right now - reserve your tranquil stay at this wonderful Waldoboro home today!

Very quiet
At first I was skeptical because of the dirt track of a road. But my skepticism disappeared with the house. Lovely location, so very quiet, would use them again

Avoid Vacasa managed properties
1. Directions say 2nd to last driveway. How do you know it’s the second to the last unless you drive to the end and turn around? 2. Vacasa provided wrong passcode for key entry. Over 35 minutes on hold before speaking to someone to get into house 3. Amenity number 1 dishwasher: found out too late to cancel that it doesn’t work. Looks like it hasn’t worked in years. Amenity number 2 : A/C turned out to be one small window unit that certainly didn’t cool off the bedrooms Amenity 3: Wi-Fi and TV. Neither ever worked even unplugging route as advised 4. Cleaniness: grape jelly smear in the refrigerator, Dirty soap scum around all the bathroom faucets. That’s what we easily saw 5. Property: narrow dangerous steps, broken door knob front storm door (read about these things but figured a year later they would have been attended to) The toilet in the master bathroom had a huge crack all the way through the seat and the master shower did not work. Took over 18 hours to get fixed. Not sure how either of these were “thoroughly cleaned” but left like this 6. Week stay: one set of towels per guest with no washing machine! 7. Worse water system ever…either scalding hot or freezing cold This is not a Maine problem as my friend rented a house 15 minutes away that had great water system Vacasa is not a premier host and should not be called such by Vrbo

Beautiful view of the tidal estuary.
Overall the house and property was very nice but in need of a lot of work. The view of the water was exceptional. The front and back stairs to get in the house are wobbly. I read in one of the previous reviews that there were plenty of spices and such for cooking yet we only had salt and pepper. Great for fishing or just getting away for a quiet weekend. very secluded. The firepit was amazing.

Finding the place in the dark is terrible!!!! Instead of saying it's the second to the last place, after the sharp right turn, I believe it was the 3rd drive. ANY marking more out on the road would be a nice improvement. I understand there is going to be a door knob put on the front door, that will help immensely, it was VERY difficult to open and close and lock the door without it. It didn't help that we were given wrong codes to access keys, and the keys were in the wrong lock boxes. Thank God we also had a digit code to get in. The inside of the house is nice and met our needs. As we were going several places, we didn't really miss not having any TV. It's there, but despite unplugging and trying to reset modem, we couldn't even get local channels to check weather. We also didn't use any of the outside or basement. Aside from coffee grounds being left in the coffee pot and the tub taking over 30 min to drain, the house was clean.
