This was our first trip this far North and it was a lovely place to stay.
This was our first trip this far North and it was a lovely place to stay. Cosy and warm, clean and bright - it was the perfect atmosphere to enjoy our visit. The property is well maintained and the owners were extremely helpful and obviously cared that we had a good stay. Highly recommended. P.S. Plenty of treats and bedding were provided for the dog!

Lovely little cottage renovated to a very high standard with clever attention to detail, eg.
Lovely little cottage renovated to a very high standard with clever attention to detail, eg. USB charging points, lots of room fragrancers, well equipped kitchenette - towels, utensils, cloths, cleaning products - the list goes on - absolutely everything you could need except your actual food. It may be small, but still quite spacious for 2 people. Nice quiet position at end of village (but opposite school so little busy beginning & end of day) and short walk to shops, pub & beach. Parking right outside, off-road.

Loved our week at Harland Cottage in Castletown.
Loved our week at Harland Cottage in Castletown. Ian and Jan, the owners, thought of everything for their visitor's comfort. Our Jack Russell Alfie loved the enclosed garden where it was really nice to sit out. Castletown was a good base for visiting the North Coast with a great visit to Castle of Mey and the day tour over on Orkney Island.
