French windows open onto a well equipped terrace with views of our mediterranean garden, the old village and surrounding hills. Amazing views over the Etang de Thau from the living area but especially from the roof top terrace. Ideally situated in the traditional, charming Bouzigues fishing village, 100m from the port/waterfront, 150m from beach. The accommodation has English freesat television and good internet.
A short walk through the picturesque village takes you to the boulangerie, grocers, newsagents, Post Office, ice cream parlour, savonnerie, craft shops and bars. There is a good pharmacy and medical centre in Bouzigues. The restaurants and cafés lining the waterfront specialise in the local seafood (oysters and mussels). Bouzigues has an interesting museum, a well equipped children’s play area and a farm/zoo. A good local bus service. The cycle track from Meze to Balaruc passes local beauty spots, notably areas of the Etang inhabited by flamingoes. There are some very special walks from Bouzigues along the edge of the Etang.
