Lovely cabin
Me and my partner had a romantic weekend away to recharge without the kids and home life. We had a brilliant stay worth the money, lovely surroundings. The on-site pub amazing food is highly recommended! The staff so welcoming and friendly. Overall amazing stay. Only tiny downside was the cabin was clean but not super clean and the bed I feel needs a mattress or a very good mattress topper as you are sleeping on a plank of wood with very thin seat cushion so not that comfortable. Despite the tiny negatives we would deffo come back and next time bring our child with us.

We had a wonderful time!
We were 5 friends plus partners so we had all the pods. Great to be together but we didn't't feel on top of each other. The pods have everything you need and it is a great use of space.

We felt like family!
The staff cannot do enough for you, the hospitality they show is above and beyond anything you could wish for. The pods are exceptionally clean and well appointed. We ate in the pub both evenings and it was exceptional. We had the most relaxing time. We will be back. THANK YOU

We are a quintessentially traditional english pub. All our staff, led by Land Lady Amber and supported by Helen and along with the rest of the team are local and have first hand knowledge of the area. Our village neigbours love telling stories to our residents and there is always a warm welcome. Its never too much trouble if you need anything and can happily recommend local things to do and places to enjoy. Its your break, so whether you want to chill at the bar or be left to enjoy a quiet meal in a cosy corner, its your choice. Tips for the pods are make up your bed before heading to the pub, enjoy the surroundings, we have plenty of deckchairs and outdoor seating, relax and take time out from the real world. We've even been asked to tell the little ones there is no WiFi so you can really go back to basics with family time and a good old board game. We look forward to meeting you on your stay with us.
