About this property

Inca's Rest, Sedgeford, Norfolk

Quietly located on the outskirts of the pretty Norfolk village of Sedgeford, this idyllic and stylish rural retreat set over three floors has beautiful countryside views, making it an ideal choice if you are looking for a great place to get together, within a short ten-minute drive to the beach and in walking distance of the village pub.

This stylish homestay can be many things; a rather indulgent and romantic escape for two, or a large and beautifully styled retreat for a group of friends or two families.

With hard floors downstairs warmed by underfloor heating and sliding patio doors from the kitchen/dining room and large sitting room, this house is perfect for those who are wanting light, space and practicality with all the comforts you need including a superb master suite on the top floor and its rather indulgent bath tub.

After a busy day exploring, relax in the gorgeous open-plan sitting room which leads out onto the rear terrace. The modern and sleek kitchen is well equipped with everything you'll need to rustle up romantic meals and snacks or indeed breakfast or supper for eight, and of course it comes with a Nespresso coffee machine for lazy mornings in bed too. The dining table chairs are dressed with sheepskin throws and the doors open up straight onto the garden. With a practical utility room too, to store coats and boots, you won't be short of space.

Upstairs you'll find four beautifully styled bedrooms. Two feature super-king size beds and all are decorated in varying shades of grey and white, perfect for relaxing and retiring to at the end of the day. The beds all have comfy bedding, throws and cushions and the windows overlook the pretty rural landscape or village. Although all the bedrooms are beautiful, the master suite on the top floor with separate dressing room tops them all, with its en-suite bathroom with a step-up, large bath tub, where from the elevated position you can recline and enjoy the private and uninterrupted rural views, or possibly stargaze when the sky turns from blue to black on dark nights.

Inca's Rest is dog friendly and child friendly and there is a pretty south facing fully enclosed lawned garden with terrace and garden furniture overlooking the fields. There is parking for up to three cars to the front of the property and additional parking on the road.

Inca's Rest can also be booked as a sleeps four with two bedrooms closed off.

Additional Information:
Two well behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge).
Travel cot available on request.

Great week at Inca's Rest
Inca's Rest is a lovely property - well equipped, comfortable and great location within easy reach of the coast and close by the Peddars Way for country walks. We stayed with friends and family so having two ensuite bathrooms was perfect; the enclosed garden was brilliant for our dog. Would happily book again; one thing to note is that the Nespresso machine is a Vertuo...so you need to be organised and bring the pods with you as they are only available from Nespresso...

A smart, modern, spacious house - ideal for family get-togethers
Incas Rest is an attractive, modern house, over three floors, with plenty of space and a nice enclosed garden. The rooms are spacious and generous, and the kitchen/diner is particularly well designed. We greatly enjoyed a family gathering weekend, making good use of the garden, and visiting the nearby beaches. One or two negatives (there are always some!): duvets and pillows were randomly mixed between feather and synthetic - be careful if you have anyone with allergies! The property is "dog friendly", but we were greeted with notices barring dogs from bedrooms and furniture - not very friendly! The addition of a barbeque would have been nice! Nevertheless, this is a wonderful property, and we would thoroughly recommend it to others.

Excellent accommodation, great location
We had a great week in Inca's Rest with our family. The house was stylish, well equipped and very comfortable with plenty of space for everyone, including the dogs and the garden was lovely. We very much enjoyed watching the hares in the field beyond! The location was perfect for Sandringham and all the beautiful beaches and villages on the North coast. We hope to return!

Excellent house
A very nice, well equipped house. Loved the top floor bedroom and bathroom. Good location and can recommend The Gin Trap in Ringstead. Thanks Norfolk Hideaways
