Hosting three bedrooms, including a king-size with en-suite shower room, a double and a single, along with a bathroom and a cloakroom, this property can sleep up to five guests. There is also a kitchen, external utility, dining room, sitting room with open fire and a snug. Outside there is an enclosed garden with lawn, patio, seating, pond and barbecue and one parking space on the driveway with more parking available on-street. Unfortunately this property does not accept children below the age of twelve. Lavender Cottage makes a wonderful choice for a tranquil trip to Derbyshire and the Peaks.

Region: The ultimate in “year-round” appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.

Town: Set just south of Belper and only around 15 miles from the Peak District is the lovely village of Duffield. Situated in Derbyshire, this upmarket village is a wonderful base for a relaxing break in the Dales, with the remains of Duffield Castle to explore, Chevin Golf Club to visit, and plenty of excellent walking routes in the vicinity. Discover a great collection of local shops and businesses, with all the essentials covered by the Coop supermarket and several pubs.

Very nice cottage
The cottage was very spacious..Old & New features all together worked well.. We had a very nice break away.. There wasn’t anything to complain about., We found everything we needed..
