About this property

Woodland annex with panoramic valley views.

The house is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty and affords an amazing view across the valley, especially from the annex living room window due to the elevated position.

The annex is connected to the main house but has its own facilities and separate entrance.

We provide tea and coffee, toiletries, bed linen and towels.

There is free wifi.

We can provide bike storage and wash down facilities..
The space
Anne and Andy would like to welcome you to Buckstone Lodge. You will be staying in the annex connected to the main house. We live in a very quiet area being one of three properties at the end of a lane. The annex has a well appointed kitchen with a dining area and a tiled floor. On the first floor there is a living room with seating for four, free wifi, T.V, board games, DVD player and a selection of DVDs.
There are two bedrooms one with a king sized bed and another with twin beds. The bathroom is connected to the main bedroom. Upstairs is fully carpeted and all tastefully decorated and furnished.
Not only can you see breathtaking views of the valley from the comfort of the living room, there is a sunset viewpoint from the Buckstone - only a 2 minute walk from the annex (see photos for the views).
There is a path to the back of the main house that brings you to the private entrance door to the annex.
There is plenty of parking at the property.
We ask that everyone is careful to drive at the speed limit (15mph) along our lane.
The annex has its own fenced outside space with patio, seating, fire pit and bbq grill where you can relax and enjoy the surroundings.
We have a lockable shed to put bikes in, but you would need to bring your own padlock. We also have bike/dog washing facilities.
Well behaved pets are welcome by request at an additional charge of £20 per pet paid on arrival, please don’t let them in the bedroom and use the throws available if they are going on the sofa. We do have friendly dogs of our own.
We offer a washing machine/ tumble drier.
During the week we child mind from the conservatory of the main house, this is isolated from the annex but you may see the children during your stay.
Guest access
Guests will have access through a shared washing machine room to a lockable door into the annex. The annex is solely theirs during their stay.
There is a grass area, patio and fire pit area, all fenced, which is solely for the air bnb.
Other things to note
This is a no smoking or vaping house. Please do this outside. Thank you for your co operation.

Quiet Getaway
We had our dog Bertie with us and it was all about the lovely woodland walks. These were accessed straight from the property garden and we’re stunning. The property had everything we needed with a great view over the valley from the living room.Just down the lane in the village the local pub served up the best food around.
