Idyllic property and setting but not in Montaione village
The property itself was idyllic - so peaceful and quite - there were no other visitors while we were there so had the pool to ourselves. However, the description and google maps search of address gives you the impression that it is on the edge of the village of Montaione. The property is in fact 1km down a very very rough single track road that you definitely wouldn’t walk up or down in the dark. Directions to the property did not help. The property has a name but we were never given it. If we had been it would have been so much easier to find. The kitchen was not well equipped- no cutting knife or board and no wine glasses - in Chianti!!
