Beautiful view but spotty internet
The villa was lovely and the view spectacular, but we only had a decent internet connection for half a day of a three-day stay. The owner responded promptly to a text message reporting the problem and indicated the router would be replaced in the morning. We did have internet access the following morning, but the connection failed around noon that same day and never returned. The owner said the router was working and the problem could be due to the mountains near the building. While a vacation from the internet could be very welcome for some travelers, it could pose problems for those needing to access work-related files, etc. Also, even though the water there is not safe to drink, there was no bottled water. We had to drive into town and buy water at a small store after arriving, an option that might not be available to those arriving in the evening. This stay was part of an extended trip across the Pelleponesse with stays at various VRBOs. In the others, the owners provided at least the first day’s supply of water, along with coffee and other basic supplies, so I would suggest that be done. We left a bottle of water for the next visitors. The home and area were lovely and we enjoyed our time
