About this property

Explore Bronte Country

Come Home Cottage is ideal for couples and is situated in a great central location, just two minutes away from Haworth’s historic Main Street. You could not be closer to the centre of the lovely village of Haworth, which is an excellent base for visiting the surrounding area, including Skipton and Hebden Bridge. The cottage is in Haworth conservation area and parking is conveniently at the door with our permit. The house is in a historic street of traditional weaver’s cottages with exposed beams and a flagstone floor in the living room. There are two comfortable sofas and a wood-burning stove for cosy evenings by the fire. We are happy to provide a starter pack of logs for you upon arrival. The bathroom has a monsoon-style shower and a bath for those who prefer to relax with a glass of wine. The house is a stone’s throw from the Bronte Parsonage where Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights were written, and the moor beyond offers lovely walks with breath-taking countryside views. Haworth has a number of traditional pubs, tea rooms and restaurants, all within easy walking distance of the cottage. The Worth Valley Steam Railway offers nostalgic rides to neighbouring villages at certain times of the year.
No pets allowed.

The first-floor living room has a large fireplace with a wood burner, original stone-flagged floors and beamed ceilings. There are two very comfortable sofas for complete rest and relaxation, with a TV, DVD player, iPhone dock and radio. The property has BT broadband. The modern basement kitchen is newly-fitted and fully-equipped and has a comfortable seating area with wall-mounted TV and retains its original cooking range installed in 1864 as a feature. There is a small utility room off the kitchen with washing machine and clothes drier - this room was a pantry with a large stone shelf for a fridge for the nineteenth-century inhabitants of the house. There is one double bedroom with double bed and a spacious bathroom on the second floor. The light and airy bathroom is newly-fitted with a large bath and a modern monsoon-style shower.

Guests will have access to the entire house. Parking is on the street directly in front of the house and a permit will be supplied for display.

Nice location
As advertised. Nicely in keeping and decorated well. Communication with hosts good. Lovely present in the fridge. We had enough wood as we used both baskets. Cold in the kitchen downstairs. Fridge not clean There was an issue with mold in the shower, which was a shame as bathroom was done nicely. Leak to the radiator in the bathroom Towels black😏 bleach marks on them. The tread in the kitchen from the step into the kitchen came away whilst I walked on it and I fell. The property just needs the owner to go and dort out the issues. Such a shame. I

Stunning cottage
What a beautiful place. Even better than the photos. We went to relax and refresh and we were able to do so due to the wonderful ambiance of this cottage. Fantastic location in Haworth- so close to many pubs and restaurants- and it is definitely a place we will recommend and revisit!Thank you!

Beautiful property
We had a lovely short break in Come Home cottage, situated in an excellent location a stone’s throw from Haworths pubs and shops. The cottage is very cosy and well equipped would happily recommend.
