About this property

Converted Stable Barn sleeping 6 people in 3 bedrooms.

An amazing space for family get-togethers. The snug, with french windows leading out to the secluded private garden, has a wood burner for cosy winter evenings and there is also a very spacious sitting room.Originally built in 1797 this converted stone stable is now a beautifully presented Grade II listed cottage that offers character and charm with its oak floors, exposed golden stone feature walls and underfloor heating throughout. On the ground floor is a large sitting room furnished with comfortable sofas, chairs, exposed beams, a TV, DVD and a picture window with lovely views over the front garden. Also, on the ground floor there is a snug (small sitting room) with a wood burning stove and French windows that lead to the secluded back garden, a very large fully equipped kitchen with a range style cooker, dining area that can seat up to 6 guests, a sumptuous Victorian leather sofa and a smart TV. There is also a shower room conveniently located on the ground floor.
The cottage has 3 lovely bedrooms located on the first floor, the first bedroom has a King-sized bed, the second bedroom has a Queen-sized double bed and the third bedroom is a twin room with two single beds. All of the bedrooms are furnished with charming furniture and fabrics, fitted wardrobes, exposed beams and stone walls. Two of the bedrooms also benefit from having their own hand basins. The main family bathroom has a shower over the bath, basin and a toilet. To the rear of the cottage is a pretty garden with a patio and garden furniture, providing a secluded place to relax during the summer months. There is also off road parking for guests.

All linen, towels, etc. are included.

Beautiful house
This house is so beautiful and spacious. We had lots of room to relax and cook in the giant kitchen. Bedrooms were very comfortable and the whole place has everything you would need!

Lovely stay
We stayed at The Stables with our daughter, son in law and their 4 month old twins. The accommodation is spacious and there was plenty of room for us all to spread out. The beds in all rooms were very comfy with lovely linen. The kitchen is very well equipped and there was fresh milk and tea and coffee left for us. The village pub, The Baker’s Arms, is a 10 minute walk from the cottage and well worth a visit, we ate there twice during our stay. Would recommend if you want to stay in the Broad Campden area.

A wedding weekend
We stayed at "The Stables" for a family wedding at a local venue. It is a spacious house, with a good sized garden, and was very suitable for our two small grandchildren. The house is extremely well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The beds were super comfy, with lovely linen and there was a generous supply of towels. It is ideally situated for a range of Cotswold attractions as there is easy access to main roads. We can recommend it.

Ideal character cottage
We enjoyed four memorable nights at the Stables for a surprise birthday treat with family and friends. The cottage is well located in a very quiet corner of this beautiful Cotswold village. It’s really spacious downstairs with plenty of room in each part, plus a lovely secluded garden. The bedrooms are well equipped, two with sinks, and very comfy beds and bedding. Shared bathroom and large downstairs shower worked ok for us. We’d recommend it strongly.
