About this property

A beautiful townhouse in the heart of Newport, Pembrokeshire

Maesgwyn is a house full of character and charm, situated in the heart of Newport/Trefdraeth - the jewel in the crown of Pembrokeshire - within walking distance to great beaches, the mountain and the coastal path. Sleeping 10 comfortably, it’s the perfect spot for a gathering with family and friends, to breathe and recharge those batteries.

Maesgwyn is extremely well equipped, to a high standard with pretty much everything you might need! On the ground floor, you have a beautiful open plan dining area and living room, with wonderful Melyn Tregwynt soft furnishings, together with a cosy study “the Cwtch”. A well equipped Smallbone of Devizes kitchen with Miele appliances, a classic AGA range cooker (with plenty of well thumbed cookery books!) and an additional Miele gas hob - perfect for preparing a wonderful selection of local produce - whether fresh off the boat, from the terrific local butcher, baker, cafes and health food shop - or from the vibrant farmers’ market on Monday morning.

Spend the day on the beach, head home, fire up the Weber BBQ, griddle your catch and watch the sun go down in your private enclosed garden.
Maesgwyn sleeps 10 people in comfort, with three double bedrooms, one twin bedroom, and a bunk bed cabin bedroom, sharing two family bathrooms. Two travel cots are also available on request.

We love dogs and pets are welcome - all the cafes and pubs in Newport welcome dogs with open arms. The main beach is a huge dog friendly expanse!

Newport has an abundance of great cafes, pubs, restaurants, and independent shops. The two local beaches - Parrog and Traeth Mawr - and the world renowned Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, as well as mystical Carn Ingli and the Preseli mountains, are all within walking distance of Maesgwyn - making it the perfect base for relaxing, recharging, and finding a little piece of paradise.

Enjoy - Mwynhewch!

Not the original property
We booked this house but were told that this was no longer available. My 83 year old Mum needed a property in the middle of town. As we had to move to another place she was stuck in the house or we had to drive her. Contracts should be binding once payment received.

Well equipped and decorated house
This house was in an excellent location and was very well equipped with absolutely everything you’d need. The communication with the management company was excellent and they were very attentive. Great garden and space, the only downside is the skinny kitchen as it’s narrow and the only route out to the garden.
