About this property

Short winter breaks available

A beautiful ground floor in an Edwardian House located in the heart of St. Davids. The apartment is a tasteful fusion of the style of the 1920's with a contemporary twist. Beautiful bedrooms with two bathrooms provide stylish accommodation for up to 4 people. The apartment is centrally heated with a gas fire in the living room for those cosy nights and there is instant hot water on demand. Free internet access is provided via wifi and a smart TV allows access for film downloads, catch up TV etc. The spacious kitchen has ample seating for additional guests if entertaining is a requirement. A washer dryer is situated in the boot room and an outbuilding for storage of all your beach stuff or bikes. Whilst centrally located, the apartment shares a peaceful garden with the maisonette above, and the ground floor also a sunny courtyard for outdoor relaxation. All the local amenities are on the doorstep, the supermarket is 50yards away, as is the city centre with its shops, banks, cafes, pubs and restaurants. The nearest beach is a 10 minute walk, as is the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast path. Public transport is also on the doorstep, which provides links to our beaches, North and South Pembrokeshire, and with rail links to the rest of the country.

On the 1st and 2nd floors is Maisonette apartment 31A which is listed separately but can be booked together with 31B to allow for larger groups. Should both apartments be booked together, there are extending dining tables in both kitchens which should allow everyone to dine together. To book as one unit, please see our separate listing for Bryn Sion Townhouse - 11039906

Please note that Vat is added at check-out.

ve great location for access to StD; pleasant period property; clean and comfortable -ve not such a major issue but sound insulation could be better; rear bathroom fan didn’t seem to work whilst the flapping plastic fan bits outside were a bit annoying

wonderful location
This was a perfect location for getting around St. David's and just a minute from the grocery. Charming place with plenty of room and well appointed. Matt was very helpful when we didn't understand the different electrical requirements of shower and washer/dryer and very responsive any time we contacted him for info. Thanks so much for a lovely visit!

Great central St David’s location -well equipped and super coastline
Property was centrally located and well stocked. Owner was brilliant - communication and information was prompt and helpful. Upstairs flat could be noisy at times mainly at the start of the day due to large family staying in the flat above. Apart from that everything was great

About the host

Hi, I'm Matthew and together with my family we own Bryn Sion. The property has been in our family since the 1930's. If you're interested in our history, please visit our website where you'll find how my family are rooted in the story of this village city and how my ancestors helped shape and develop it.

I'm an architect by profession, working in London for the first part of my career until I came home to St.Davids . It's a wonderfully enchanting place to live. We've let residential properties for generations and decided to convert this property to a holiday rental. It's ideally located, has an abundance of space, inside and outside and I've tried to provide everything that will make your stay a great one.

Why they chose this property

The house is operated as two apartments out of season, but let together during peak season to allow groups of friends or family to stay together whilst allowing a degree of independence. Our 6 beautiful bedrooms & 4 bathrooms provide stylish accommodation for up to 11 guests. To book as one unit, please see our separate listing for Bryn Sion - Stylish Townhouse in the heart of the city - 11039906

What makes this property unique

The city center/coastal location make this property an ideal place to stay. Coastal walks, swimming, restaurants and shops are all at your fingerips.

The apartment is recently refurbished throughout and all the appliances and facilities are new. Furniture pays respect to the 1920's and creates a great fusion with the modern. The gardens provide private areas ideal for relaxing throughout the day.
