Beautiful But Difficult
1. The rental was as it appears. Comfortable and kitchen is completely filled with cooking tools. Filled with 1960’s /70’s decor it was like being in a time machine! Lovely! VERY clean, metro/tram convenient and great local restaurants. 2. Cleanbnb was HORRIBLE! This independent property manager was only reachable through chat. Even VRBO couldn’t make contact. They tried to charge twice for city tax. Every person on chat and email refused to respond when I showed them evidence (bank statement and list of charges). It was only resolved when I arrived and the agent spoke to a supervisor. The night BEFORE I checked out, I was automatically charged a ‘dirty apartment fee’. Again, i sent a chat message and sent photos of the clean apartment and empty fridge on the morning of check out. I asked if the fee was going to be reversed and the reply was “for all this request send an email to backoffice cleanbnb”. If this was necessary, why did I have to send the photos on the chat? When I asked why I was charged the night before departure when it wasn’t inspected, there was no response. If this apartment is independently owned, I hope they reconsider using Cleanbnb.
