Prim location for restaurants, bars, ferries, etc
All amenities at your doorstep. If after a quiet relaxing break you will not get it here due to its location within a very busy day and night popular area however an advantage if you wish not to travel to far to such locations. Roof space very noisy all day with bar/restaurant music constantly on and a restaurant food extractor fan constantly blowing lush food smells out making me very hungry. However saying that, I still enjoyed being up on the roof with my bubbly and magazine with the company of the sea gulls and pigeon's that strangely I found very entertaining unlike when they are on our level. Assuming it has just been renovated, the standard was fair but did not reflect what we are use to within the price range. Something for the owners to consider if they want to brush up on the standard, however we are mindful this may be indulged when they start making their monies. We would have liked toweling robes. Clear instruction for the microwave and oven (I had to go through a large draw of paperwork to find them) I have to do that at home... Clear instructions for the T.V. Although all information is clear to find on our mobiles it should also be printed in a welcome pack at the property..not everyone gets on with mobiles or have them. There was no caffater for me to put my filter coffee in so we had to buy one. No microwavable pots for the microwave, so we had to buy them as well. No tray to put a tea pot, cup etc. to take upstairs, which prevents spillage on those lovely carpets. All rooms had neighbors windows looking in and we closed the curtains so we did not feel to exposed which was a shame, however if shutters/ half even could be fitted would make the space really private and yet light. The curtains were not ironed and looked like they had just come out of the packet and work tools and materials were left in the bedroom furniture draws, including half a cigarettes' rolly and a pair of socks found on the floor. The above is not a complaint but when a property is asking top rate rental, the above should be a reflection of that. We hope that the above is of help to the owners in improving the high standard of their rental that we can see have already tried to do. Yes we would come back, but only on the bases of the above improvements as we have stayed in other Plymouth rentals much cheaper with all the above and more, including parking.

Yarmouth House is one of our gems, not only because of the most incredible location, in the heart of Barbican but as we brought life to this beautiful, Grade 2 Listed Building. Owned by the Yarmouth Stores family since 1898 before we purchased it in 2021 and transformed it into this gorgeous, large, boutique stylish townhouse.
