About this property

Stunning Northumberland 10 Bed House with Hot Tub

This beautiful house has been welcoming guests since 1370. A friendly, spacious and relaxing place to mix with friends and family. Hidden behind a stone wall so you can switch off, but in the centre of a village and a few minutes walk from a shop and a great pub serving food. It has been in our family for the last 40 years. The house was gifted to the Church in 1919 as a permanent memorial to the loss of their son during the First World War in 1915
The space
The rooms are mostly very large. Although the house has been here for hundreds of years it has been modernised recently and is a wonderful place to stay
Guest access
Guests can use the whole space.
Other things to note
There is an electric car charge point

I have lived here with my family since we moved here in 1982. I bought the house from my parents in 2007 and have lived here with my wife and two daughters since then.

Why they chose this property

This 10 bed house is great for family get togethers. There is everything you need if you want to stay put - the hot tub, large gardens and patio. The White Swan pub does great food or you can catch the train to Newcastle or Hexham to explore. There are laos loads of lovely walks in every direction.

What makes this property unique

The house is Grade 2* listed, meaning it is of special historic interest.
