About this property

The Pride - 2 mins to town and 5 mins to beach

This stylish and spacious maisonette sits on a quiet road close to the town centre and some of the cleanest beaches along the South Coast. Formed from the upper two floors of a Victorian terraced house it offers flexible and comfortable accommodation for four in two luxury king rooms.
What was once a sleepy seaside town has been transformed in recent years to a social and cosmopolitan coastal haven! Is it time you paid Worthing a visit?

Known affectionately as the ‘West End’ of Worthing, this area of town has seen huge regeneration in recent years. Today, you can’t walk down the street without passing a cool new coffee shop or a shiny new art gallery, and there’s plenty of antique emporiums and boutique shops to explore. Reginal Ballum offers a treasure trove of trinkets, furnishings and more, while unique gift shop Found is a few doors away and Malt Café is renowned for its cool yet unpretentious vibe and delicious cakes.

Take a walk down Montague Street where you’ll find a plethora of independent restaurants, takeaways and bars. Sit outside for alfresco dining and brunch at Finch, grab authentic tapas and fine wines at The Grape Escape or enjoy some incredible cocktails at The Rockinghorse (we love it so much we’ve mentioned it twice!)– you really are spoilt for choice in Worthing these days.

Worthing Pier has also undergone recent renovation seeing its Deco Music hall brought back to life, bringing fine food & drinks from Perch on the Pier and live music and comedy performances be enjoyed throughout the year. The Dome Cinema shows both arthouse and blockbuster movies which can be viewed for just £3 on a Monday – what’s not to love about this place?

Furnished with colourful, vegan friendly, Mid-Century pieces, this property has an air of cool and is immediately impressive from the moment you step foot through the door. Simply drop your bags, kick off your shoes and let your holiday begin.

Gratwicke Road sits just minutes from the town centre where you’ll find every amenity you could wish for. The beach is just one block away where you’ll find coffee shops, artists’ boutiques, pop up beach bars, restaurants and cafes galore. The beaches are palm fringed and perfect for sea-swimmers – or why not watch the sunset from the beach front sauna Fire, Salt & Sea?

Whether you’re looking for a family holiday, a romantic getaway, a team building event or a weekend away with friends, this sunny apartment provides the perfect base for your self-catering stay.

The southern end of Gratwicke Road is characterised by Victorian townhouses with sugared almond facades. This apartment is formed from the upper two floors of an attractive house, so it shares the communal entrance with just one other property. Stepping up to the flat, it has clearly been renovated and styled by those with a refined eye for colour and interiors to create a space which feels both homely and contemporary. Natural light filters in through plantation shuttered windows from east to west, and there are versatile rooms for relaxation, dining and entertaining. What’s more, this property is completely vegan friendly, with all furnishing, toiletries and cleaning products animal ingredient free, and bought with the environment and sustainable living in mind.

A real home from home, there are two generous reception rooms to include an elegant dining room with space to seat six, and there is a sumptuous sofa bed within the living room should you require guests to stay – although this will be by prior request and negotiation only. A flat screen TV with sound system and complementary WiFi is in place for evenings in with a streaming service, although there is plenty to entertain you nearby – pop out to the Whiskey Rooms, Pizza Face or Yamu Yamu less than a minute away. There are some great hot spots in Worthing to keep you occupied; The Vegan Street Food Company is just a six minute walk and serves an array of tasty options. The cosy but decadent Wine and Reason boasts an incredible selection of mouth-watering wines and tapas. If you are looking for a cocktail before dinner, look no further than the Rocking Horse Cocktail Club, where you can find movie themed drinks, all made and mixed in house by their artistic mixologists.

Streamlined in deep navy with glistening quartz worktops, the kitchen is inviting, with every appliance you could need to whip up a delicious meal. While you are never more than a few minutes from a fresh bake, loaf or ground coffee in town, there is a state-of-the-art Nespresso machine for an immediate caffeine hit first thing before you set out to explore for the day. There is a good range of crockery, glassware, cutlery, cooking utensils and pans, plus tea, coffee and milk will also be provided. Should you need anything in particular, or have any special dietary requirements, please ask and we will make every effort to accommodate.

The shower room is on trend in shades of urban grey, using large scale wall tiles around a roomy cubicle with a rainfall shower head. Premium toiletries and fresh fluffy towels are provided, as are a hairdryer, an iron and an ironing board, so you only need to pack-light for your stay.

Two beautiful king-size bedrooms can be found peacefully positioned on the top floor with plantation shutters to block the light for weekend lie-ins. Each bed has a deep hybrid mattress dressed in fine quality cotton linens, with plump pillows and season appropriate duvets, so whatever time you fall into bed, you can ensure a truly restful night’s sleep.

Very nice, recently renovated upstairs apartment in a quaint town. 10 min walk to the Worthing train station and less than half a block to the main street in town. This accommodation's location is excellent, being near the main pedestrian shopping area and two blocks from the beach. The interior is large with two big bedrooms, a large living room, a dining room, bathroom, and kitchen. The beds are king size and queen size and very comfortable. The living room couch is also comfortable and folds down into a sofa bed. Kitchen is well stocked but the lighting could be better for cooking at night. During the day there is lots of natural light. The bathroom is good but has no vent except by opening a window. Tastefully decorated and very comfortable for 4 adults, I highly recommend this accommodation and we were lucky to have had it for a whole month.
