Five star rating. It was all we had hoped for and we were able to relax in this perfect little oasi
Stephanie was a warm, friendly host and her Garden Room accommodation was so clean and welcoming. The French doors open on to the private large garden with several quiet seating areas. The public buses and the coastal train are within a few minutes walking distance so we didn't use our car whilst we were there. We would recommend Penquite for a relaxed and comfortable holiday.

We had a great time at Penquite
The garden rooms were perfect accommodation for two adults and our small dog. The apartment is part of a beautiful Arts and Crafts home with extensive gardens. The apartment was thoughtfully furnished and well appointed. Lovely comfortable bed and a great power shower. Everything was spotlessly clean. We didn’t use the cooking facilities because we wanted to enjoy the local restaurants, but everything seemed to be there if you wanted to cook. A great base to explore south west Cornwall.

Small, but perfectly formed bolt hole
My partner and I stayed with our little dog at Penquite garden rooms this week. We had a lovely time, we used Penquite as a base to explore and it was perfectly situated to see west Cornwall. Comfy bed, lovely power shower and stylish quality furnishings. Penquite is a beautiful arts and craft home in the most lovely gardens. Great couple of eateries in the village, and easy access to St Ives for many more… Thank you for a lovely stay!

Penquite is a family home where I am nearly always around to be of help for as much or as little as guests require. Penquite is my passion and I love and enjoy looking after it as a business and a home. I am very hands on in the garden and decorating, I like to do changeovers and laundry myself so that my guests experience is as perfect as possible and their accommodation is sparkling clean!

I absolutely love living here, if you are only here for the shortest stay a walk to the expansive and stunning Porthkidney Beach just 10 mins stroll away is an absolute must! A short walk around the village takes you to pubs and bistros and the coastal train that stops in the village.. destination St Ives in just 10 minuets is incredible. You can pick up the coastal path and walk for miles or explore the abundant local Art culture including Tate St Ives and Newlyn Art Gallery. One of my favourite things to do is to visit the many subtropical and ancient gardens like those at St Michaels Mount an historic and ancient castle steeped in history!
