Please note: There is a step in the garden.. This traditional, cosy house is perfect for escaping the hectic nature of everyday life. This spacious, three-storey stone house will immediately make you feel at home with its cosy entrance hall. Directly off the hallway is the characterful living room where you’ll find a stunning Art-Nouveau fireplace and sumptuous sofas, complimented with a Smart TV. After a day of hiking the fells or exploring Kendal and the surrounding area, this room is the perfect place to huddle up. Located off the living room, the dining room features a stylish dining table and chairs for six, brilliant lighting and a retro sideboard containing board games and books. You will find the kitchen to the rear of the property, fully equipped with all modern conveniences, including a coffee machine to enjoy your morning coffee.
The first floor is home to two bedrooms, a twin at the rear and a large king at the front. Both provide hanging rails and storage. A fantastic bathroom awaits you up the second flight of stairs with a walk-in shower, vanity suite with an inset sink and toilet, as well as a mirror with LED lights, and a roll-top bath. The master suite can also be found on this floor, which features a super king size zip-and-link bed. Once you arrive at your holiday cottage, you can leave the car behind to make the most of your prime location. If you’ve not been to Kendal before you’ve come to the best of all worlds! On your doorstep you have one of the most amazing Unesco World Heritage Sites on the planet in the Lake District while Kendal itself offers an amazing creative hub which punches well above its size. A street away is the Bowness Bay Microbrewery, a pottery and screen-printing studio, a gym, a flower shop, a pizza van and the Factory Tap craft pub. If you go to the end of the properties road towards the river and cross the bridge, there is a children’s play area.
Kendal has an abundance of well-known high street brands mixed with several independent retailers, and a weekly outdoor market selling anything from local crafts to clothing, as well as a permanent indoor market open daily, you’ll find plenty on your doorstep to fill your days. Visit Kendal Museum, dating back to 1796, which houses historical archaeology and the largest taxidermy collection in Europe. Also within 30 minutes’ drive you can explore the Yorkshire Dales National Park, and the waterfall trail and caves at Ingleton are extremely popular. There’s so much to see and do in this area you will be spoilt for choice. Beach 12 miles. Pub and restaurant 176 yards.

Zeer fijn huis
Heerlijk ruim en net huis op loopafstand van leuke stad maar ook dichtbij natuurschoon. Vanuit huis mogelijkheden om prachtige mtb ritten door heuvels te maken. Meer dan prima huisje.
