Two steps up from the living area, you'll find a dining table for six guests and a fully equipped kitchen with an island/breakfast bar. Tucked away to the side of the living space is a TV snug with a sliding door, ideal for cosy movie nights or a quiet space for kids to play while adults enjoy dinner.
A mezzanine area above the living space doubles as a study and a quiet reading nook with views to the front and back of the house.

The Brackens offers three ground-floor bedrooms, making it ideal for guests who have difficulty with stairs and for families with toddlers. The principal bedroom and the second bedroom both feature king-size beds, while the third bedroom has twin beds. A patio wraps around the entire house, offering space for dining or relaxing while listening to the sounds of nature and the waves. A little path winds through the garden. Stunning view
The view is outstanding and it was so nice to be able to walk to the bottom of the garden and onto the beach. The house is spacious and makes good use of the views. There were a couple of small issues such as the garden is definitely not secure for dogs, the bedding isn’t the most comfortable, poor water pressure in the shower. Overall it’s a lovely house to enjoy the changing view

Stunning Location
Wonderful location with amazing views of Snowdon across the estuary. Comfortable accommodation and had everything we needed for a very enjoyable week. So peaceful and lovely to see the bird life on the estuary. Would highly recommend.

holiday on millionaire's row
An opportunity to occupy something out of Grand Design, albeit with an overgrown example of rewilding. The access to the estuary was rather disappointing due to the overgrown nature of the garden path and the weed covered estuary shoreline. The property was certainly clean and well equipped, although the welcome pack could have hardly been less exciting. Compared with overseas properties the pack lacked imagination as well as quantity. If visitors do not appreciate rabbits digging up the garden , then this is not the property for them. The photographs in the brochure may have applied to the property some years ago, but they are certainly not current.

Stunning house, amazing views! Beds a little uncomfortable but that's the only negative. Still 5*!!!

Stunning location
Lovely accommodation, on the coastal path and close to the water's edge. Had a great time and will return again. Beautifully maintained.

Review of Brackens
Excellent property - possibly the nicest we've stayed in - only drawback was the lack of a tumble dryer. We will definitely return though.

Fabulous property
In a beautiful location if wanting to get away from it all with stunning views across the estuary. Even though quiet location, not to far to drive to Rhosneigr or Rhoscolyn and only 30 minutes from other areas with more going on

A beautiful contemporary house in a scenic spot. Close to lovely walks and beaches
The house was perfect for us. Much better than the photos. We loved the views, walks, sitting area, room heights a d open space, books and games, Only small critique - The smart tv advertised wasn’t smart

Stunning house with views to match
The house is well equipped, warm and spacious, but the main event is the view. We had pretty dreadful weather but could still have just sat and looked out of the window for a week. Anglesey is great - easy to get around, beautiful beaches and good walks. Anglesey Lettings very helpful

Weeks stay in anglesey
Beautiful location, well presented house and well equipped kitchen. Garden was secure but the dogs were driven crazy by all the bunnies and small dogs would be able to escape the gates. Definitely considering another stay and miss the view of the estuary. We did find the temperature too high - we are from Buxton so used to around 17•C rather than 22•C heated homes

Spot on !
Great property. Great location. Already planning our return visit. The only negative regarding the whole week was that food outlets in Angelsey seem to hibernate ( not surprising, I suppose ). Our trip in November saw us struggle to find decent food, or open outlets, and had us visiting Waitrose for supplies rather than eating out. That, of course, is an Angelsey thing not The Brackens, which was splendid.

Another excellent stay
This house is beautiful and the views are stunning . This was a return visit for us all and the children just love the freedom they have here . Playing in the gardens and walking by the estuary . The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay . Communication before and if required during your stay is also very good . You will not be disappointed, We are just confirming our next trip

An amazing location and view
We stayed at the Brackens for 4 nights in early November. When we arrived we were really impressed by the overall external look of the property. The house itself is really impressive, nice and airy with enough seats in each of the rooms for everyone to have their own space. The windows at the rear of the property give spectacular and ever changing views. At the bottom of the garden there is direct access to the Coastal Path and it is only a short drive to a number of beaches or towns. We visited Menai Bridge, Beaumaris, Rhosneigr and Newborough during our stay all of which were wishing easy reach by car. We have stayed in a number of properties on Anglesey and this is one of the best. My only suggestion if you visit at cooler times of year, is to make sure you pack big jumpers/thick socks because the house does get cold and the temperature cannot be adjusted, so it does get chilly. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others who want a peaceful and relaxing stay with a beautiful view out of every window!

Relaxing stay
This property is absolutely stunning with amazing views from all aspects. It is very well appointed and comfortable with everything you might need including hundreds of beautiful books. Lots of lovely walks nearby and the wild garden is just amazing completely in keeping with the position and surroundings of the property. Only small issue, whilst I understand the environmentally friendly ethos of the property really need to be able to turn the heating up, 15 deg recorded in the Largs living space is not warm enough considering the price of the property. Not sure how this will be in winter. However would absolutely recommend this property from all other aspects.

Just perfect
We had a fantastic week at The Brackens, so relaxing just watching the constant changing view. House was lovely, clean, spacious with everything provided. The beds were a little uncomfortable hence the lower mark. Perfect location for walking and cycling hardly used the car which was great for my husband who drives a lot with work. Just to add too, the lady at Anglesey Lettings who helped with a query was so nice and friendly, thank you. Will most definitely be returning to this property. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Great position, great house
Superb views of Snowdonia across river estuary teeming with bird life. The house is very well appointed and offers good views from the interior. Binoculars and telescope are not good. Garden is neglected…..could do with a decent lawn adjacent to the house.

Lovely house.
Lovely beautiful house, location on the estuary was amazing but just a shame every and shops/beach/restaurant was a drive away. House was clean and tidy but the rear garden was quite overgrown. Outdoor shower was lovely with a great view but the floor could do with a jet wash. Didn’t find the double beds particularly comfortable. I am being picky but those little things are what I remember. I would visit again for sure.

The Brackens
This is a fabulous holiday house. Amazing setting and views. The house is very spacious and in the most part well equipped (only criticism could do with a few more glasses!). We loved the out door shower after a swim in the estuary. We will definitely book again! Anglesey holiday lettings communication was good and send really useful info about the property and Anglesey activities prior to our visit.

Prefect house
Everything spotlessly clean. Lovely views. Good position for getting out and about. Perfect all round and well eqiped but could do with more in the way of saucepans and bowls. If I had to make any negative comments it would be the wifi, it was very poor so to have a smart TV is pretty pointless, we couldnt use anything excect the terrestrial channels as wifi wasnt up to it. Even trying to stream anything on an ipad wasnt good. Maybe dont advertise it. The garden, -great but all pretty neglected, "left wild" really does mean that. its not attraction and could do with some wild flower seeds thrown apart to make it a bit prettier. Neither of of these points would stop me returning though, pretty minor in the big scheme of things.

Lovely Stay
The location and views are stunning. The accommodation is of high standard. The garden however was a little unkept and was over run with rabbits which wasn’t ideal with two Labradors. In the end we couldn’t let them out without being out with them so not quite the relaxing stay we’d hope for and as a dog friendly accommodation I think this should be mentioned. That said beautiful property.
