The neighborhood consists of many pedestrian streets. There are plenty of artistic venues, parks, and gardens in the immediate vicinity.

You could for instance recharge your batteries in the many nearby museums: Centre Pompidou, Musée Carnavalet, Picasso; as well as stroll from art galleries to trendy boutiques, enjoy a Berthillon ice cream on the Île Saint-Louis in front of Notre-Dame, take a scooter ride along the Seine quays to the Louvre and relax in the Tuileries Gardens.
