About this property

Wooden lodge set in countryside, close to River Fowey

Willow Lodge is a sweet little property set within the grounds of the owners' second home (The lodge is hidden behind a tall hedge, so you do have privacy). This teeny lodge is ideal for two guests. There is also a mooring, where you can hire a river boat and paddle down the beautiful River Fowey for an additional fee - please enquire.

It has one double bedroom, a shower room, and compact living space with sofa, dining table and kitchenette, parking and your own grass area with table and chairs to enjoy the bird song and peaceful surroundings. (Please note there is no oven, but there is a microwave, fridge, toaster and coffee machine). The sink is located outside the door in the car port.

Lovely little rural retreat
Booked this as a last minute alternative to a wet camping weekend which would allow our dog. And it turned out to be a lovely stay! Nice and clean, the prosecco in the fridge was a welcome find, and all facilities you want are there. You have to be aware this place is really out there in a rural area, nearest village is around 3 miles away and it's car, walk or taxi only, hence the 4 stars for that which you need to factor in if it suits you. But with all the quiet surroundings away from the tourists, this is well worth a look for a couple with a dog. We will be back, and thanks for having us.
