About this property

Lakefront Cottage with 100' Sandy Beach, Dock, Views and Game Room.

Lakefront cottage built with classic 'camp' wood finish. This 1990's cottage is located on a dead-end road, between two Million-dollar-plus homes, on a small quiet cove. The camp has wide pine floors and 'pickwick' wood walls with all the comforts of home. Several upgrades have been made to the camp over the past couple of years including: new cedar shake siding, new roof, new windows and doors, and several new mattresses and box springs. There is a 100' private sandy beach on Broad Bay of Ossipee Lake with great views of the White Mountains. This is one of the best beaches located on Ossipee Lake. New for 2021, we have a new deck cover, new wood swings and a new firepit area!. Our gradual sandy beach is perfect for small children and the 5' depth at the end of the dock is perfect for diving in and swimming to the raft. There is a wood dock for your boat, a swim raft, beach toys, 2 kayaks, 2 paddleboards and several bicycles for your enjoyment. Lower level game area with bumper pool, ping pong, table hockey and darts. The main level has a 42' HDTV with internet access and wifi. Two of the bedrooms have new HDTVs. The second floor bedrooms are air-conditioned. We rent our camp from Friday at 6:00 PM to Friday at noon. Most of our renters come from New England. By doing it this way, everyone has one complete weekend at the camp which makes it better for having visitors come up for the weekend. See the House Rules on the Cleaning Fee. This is a family camp and not a traditional full-time rental. Because of this, we ask each of our renters to leave our camp as you found it when you arrived. By doing this, you effectively save a $300 cleaning fee by getting a $300 refund by leaving it as you found it on your way out. Over the years, we have only had a couple of renters who did not get the full cleaning fee refund. These renters either didn't clean at all or they did the bare minimum. Most of our renters enjoy saving the cleaning fee by straightening things up and wiping things down.

Another wonderful stay
Brian is wonderful to work with! The views are beautiful from his house and lake is calm in the morning for early paddleboard rides. All the toys he allows you to use (kayaks, floats, or paddle boards) really make the stay even more fun!

Wonderful location
Brian was wonderful to work with and answered all questions. The views were spectacular and it was great to be able to check in Friday. The extra bonus was being able to bring our Cavapoo who had the best time!

Perfect Getaway
This house was in a perfect location! It had all the amenities you could need. Perfect dock to park the pontoon, great swimming area with raft, kayaks, paddle board.....We just had a wonderful time! The only thing that bummed me out was that we needed to make our own beds when we got there, do all the laundry, and clean the house before we left. I realize now that I did not see that/missed it in the listing before we booked. I would been much happier to pay a cleaning fee. Over all great vacation!

Amazing Week at Lake Ossipee
The pictures do not do this place justice!! My wife and I stayed here with our 3 & 1 year old. Great location as it sits right on the lake, beautiful view of the water and mountain. The beach was nice and gradual (great for young kids). I suggest renting a pontoon boat, there’s a great dock for it and the marina is right across the bay. We also really liked the deck, spent 80% of our time there. Great, clean, and easy check in. 5 stars.

Fabulous getaway
This was a fantastic vacation for my family. Check in/out was a breeze. The place was spotless when we got there. The host was very accommodating to any questions I had in the time leading up to our stay. It is such a great location. At the end of the road so no traffic, near the no wake area, so lake traffic was minimal. The swings under the deck and floating dock were the favorites for my kiddos. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking to get away, with our without kids - we had a blast! The only thing to note, the beach itself is sandy, but it is definitely a rocky entrance once in the water. Not a problem for us since we brought water shoes, but in case anyone could use that tidbit :)

We built this family camp in 1994. The camp was designed to have the look of a classic mid-1900's camp with the Pickwick pine walls and wide pine floors but also to have the modern amenities. We have a 42' HDTV in the living area along with internet and wifi. There is a full bath and a 1/2 bath along with a washer and a dryer. The second floor bedrooms are air-conditioned so sleeping on a hot summer night in the upstairs is very comfortable. The main level is not air-conditioned but with an open concept and great ventilation, none is ever needed. We mainly use this camp as a family summer camp and we make it available for rent for just a couple of prime summer weeks and a few June, September and October weeks to off-set the property taxes.

Why they chose this property

This property is unique as it sits in a small semi-private cove with a sandy beach and nice mountain views. The camp is located between two $1 Million dollar homes. When on our deck or dock you are in a fairly private cove location with great views of Broad Bay and the mountains. This property is largely wooded. You can boat right from the dock to the open water of Broad Bay and Ossipee Lake or you can take a right and head through the channel and access Leavitt Bay and Berry Bay to the east. This has been our family camp since 1994 and we have had many great memories here. I am sure that your family will love this special place as everyone who stays here does.

What makes this property unique

We have completed interior and exterior renovations from 2016-2018. The two oldest reviews are from 2009 and 2010 before the renovations were completed and while they were good they don't reflect the current condition of the camp.
