Topsail is a 26-mile-long barrier island off the coast of North Carolina. It is a very nice uncrowded family beach. There are 3 sections to the island: Topsail which is the southernmost end of the island; Surf City which is in the center of the island and has most of the shops and restaurants and North Topsail which is where the condo is located.

Ocean temperatures in May and June are in the 75+ degrees and July to the end of October the oceans temperatures are 80+ degrees. It has many nice and quaint gift shops and delicious and reasonable restaurants.

Family outings on Topsail can include picnics on the beach. Strolling the beach for sharks' teeth and many types of seashells and fossils. Topsail is home to breathtaking views of the ocean and the sound. Also, it has a sea turtle hospital that welcomes visitors. You can relax and get a tan on the beach, take a dip in the pool or watch the dolphins playing in the surf ...

Topsail Dunes has three buildings that are 3 -stories each that sits right on the Beach of the Atlantic Ocean!

The condo is adjacent to the entrance to the beach. The condo's balcony is less than 30 yards from the ocean with a great unobstructed 180-degree view of it. The Living room sliders opens onto the balcony. The master bedroom has a private bathroom with a stall shower, queen-size bed and sliders that opens onto the balcony. The second bedroom has two single beds. There is a full second bathroom. The Dining table seats 4 comfortably with additional counter seating for 4.

The unit is nicely decorated in a beach nautical décor. Topsail Dunes has private parking, a large pool and a recreation area for children and adults alike. There are also grills and picnic tables for outdoor eating. Golfing (North Shore Country Club) is only five miles away with many more great golf courses in the area.

Visit Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Hospital, watch for the sea turtles' nest & hatch. or hunt for shark’s teeth. Topsail Island has one of the best beaches for finding shark’s teeth and shells along the east coast!

Ohana Paddle Sports and Thomas Tackle and Seafood are also worth visiting. Jet skiing, kayaking, and water skiing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling nearby.

Slice of Heaven on Earth
NTB is a beautiful beach and having a wonderful condo makes for an excellent vacation. We didn't want for anything! Beach chairs & towels were an added bonus. The kitchen was beautiful, the bathrooms were well stocked and clean. The beds were so comfortable and it was wonderful to have the ceiling fans. The added little touches... Kleenex, shampoo, conditioner, body wash & hair dryer were unexpected but SO appreciated!! Mornings on the deck with coffee was so enjoyable. I can't wait to stay again!!!

It is all about the view
It was a wet and rather dreary weekend in Topsail, but we didn't care because we had the best view on the Island! If you love to stay as close as you can to the ocean without actually being in it, this is the place. The view is amazing and the gentle rumble of the crashing waves makes for a great night's sleep. Comfortable beds, a well-appointed kitchen, and a responsive host make this a great place. We will be back!

Great beachfront view. Good location, very few people on the beach. More fast food and other restaurants have opened up since first visit to North Topsail. Condo met needs of family (wife and older inlaws). Was concerned how they would handle the one flight of stairs, but they handled them well.

Very nicely furnished 2 BR / 2 Ba first floor unit, super convenient to the beach. One of the best equipped kitchens I’ve ever seen in a VRBO property (just wish there had been a garlic press 😂). Instructions were clear, concise, and very reasonable. Would certainly rent this unit again!
