Pelican Beach Resort is an ideal family resort located in the heart of beautiful Destin, right on the beach. We are located directly across the street from the Big Kahuna's Waterpark. Minutes away from grocery stores, movie theater, Fishbowl Bowling alley, and shopping. Silver Sands, a large factory outlet mall is 7 miles east. Destin Commons outdoor shopping Mall is at the corner of Mid Bay Bridge and Hwy 98. It has a huge movie theater complex, Hard Rock Cafe', Bass Pro Fishing Shop, Johnnie Rockets, a beautiful outdoor setting. Several fabulous golf courses in the area. Deep sea fishing is right up the street!

Pelican Beach Resort provides (heated) indoor and outdoor pools, a wading pool for the kids, sauna, hot-tub, and steam-room. You'll have access to a robust fitness center along with a video game room, tennis courts, and outdoor grills. You may also enjoy the resort beach services, and Tiki Bar. Free parking for guests.

Property was in the middle of repairs to their stairway and rubbish shute and was quite noisy and difficult to tolerate the loud noise. The noise was nonstop all day long and started as early as 7am. Sounded like a jackhammer running all day long in the condo next to ours but it was in the stairwell. The owner of the condo was WONDERFUL and offered us to stay a few extra days because of the noise. The owner was very accommodating and very easy to reach. If florida is ever on my vacation list I would rent this condo again but only when no repairs to the resort are being done.

Great Stay!
Ashley was a great host. Our room was ready early and she allowed us to check- in way before 4. Never been able to do this anywhere else that I know of. Place was clean, kitchen stocked with all the cooking necessities. Location was great, a couple miles from HarborVillage,The Track and Big Kahunas right across the street, view was perfect from the balcony! My family and I had a great time!

My wife is in a wheelchair mostly. She was able to get in the pool on the beach and in the water, your condo is great bc, it’s on the fourth floor and is not overcrowded by useless furniture. Clean and accessible, we had a great visit in Destin.

Why they chose this property

Location is key! You can't beat the 4th floor views; high enough to see it all and close enough to hear the sounds of the waves rolling in. Our unit is uniquely decorated with paintings by our Mom/'Nana'... and you will likely notice similar paintings by the same artist throughout the resort :).
