Moose Head Cabin is a quant log cabin that features pine walls, hardwood floors and complemented by dark plush furniture in the living room which go along with the moose theme cabin. Guests can kick back on the comfy couch and enjoy the warmth of the fireplace while watching a favorite series on the flat-screen TV. Several windows offer generous amounts of natural light, as well as stunning views of the snow caped mountains. Between one bedroom and sleeper sofa and the bonus loft, this cabin comfortably sleeps up to six guests. The bedroom features a queen-size bed, the sleeper sofa is a full, while the loft room features two comfy twin beds.
Over in the fully-equipped kitchen, there is enough counter space to prepare a home-cooked meal. The space also features a stove top, a toaster oven, a fridge, a microwave, and a coffeemaker in addition to all the necessary dishware and cookware. There is seating for four at the dining table.
Guests can use the free Wi-Fi to stay connected and there is also cable TV for indoor entertainment. After a day of in the outdoors, guests can warm up next to either the wood fire place in the pavilion or the cozy fireplace in their private cabin.
Guests are welcome to use the separate custom recreational entertainment pavilion has been designed to include a massive river rock fireplace, complete kitchen with stove top oven and outdoor grill, Bar/Island, dining and living room that is left open to capture the majestic mountain views. There is enough seating for 8 people at the bar and 6 people at the table. Or cozy up near the fire in a leather rocking chair!
Located near the Piedra River, Williams Reservoir and hiking, biking and other trails at your back door. This cabin has a private, "tucked away" feel while still being very close to the other 2 cabins and a pavilion.

NEARBY EXCURSIONS
Piedra River Trail
Just a 2 minute ride down the road. Piedra River Trail is a 7.9 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from May until October. Dogs and horses are also able to use this trail.
Williams Reservoir
This 508-acre mountain lake imparts fine fishing for rainbow trout, brook trout and kokanee salmon. In the morning and evening hours, bank fishing, a float-tube or canoe affords sufficient access to surface-feeding fish, while during breezy afternoons, a sturdy motorboat provides superior safety. ATV enthusiasts enjoy Poison Park Road which is several miles or traveling to East Fork Road to enjoy this four-wheel drive-only road to Silver Falls.
The bustling town of Durango lies 60 miles west of Pagosa
Springs, while Mesa Verde and Chimney Rock Archaeological
Parks are a short drive away.
