About this property

Ground-Floor, Free WiFi, Screened Patio, Gated Complex, Across From Sandy Beach!

NOTE - NO RESERVATIONS ARE ACCEPTED WITHIN 10 DAYS OF ARRIVAL DATE.

Condo has free wireless internet and free long-distance calling to the US and Canada. It is across the street (east) from the beautiful, white public beach with the city park, library, supermarket, and drugstore to the north. Across the street are 4 lighted tennis courts, children's playground, ball fields, and picnic tables.

The Maderia Beach Yacht Club Condominium complex is made up of two-story and three-story condo units surrounded by walled security with limited-gate access. The complex sets on a peninsula of the Intracoastal Waterway with four fishing piers and boat slips on the east and south sides. (You can fish off the pier just 50 feet behind our unit.)

Our condo is a ground-floor, non-smoking unit with a screened patio. The bedroom has a queen bed, and the living room has a queen sleeper sofa. The complex has two swimming pools, clubhouse with 2 pool tables, lockers, sauna, hot tub, exercise equipment, and shuffleboard, in addition to the amenities listed.

Ten restaurants (including two sushi) and many shops are within a 2-block walk, and a 1-mile walk down the beach (south) takes you to 'John's Pass,' a popular, open-air, boardwalk tourist area, where you find deep-sea fishing, cruises up the Intracoastal Waterway, sailing, jet ski and boat rentals, casino dinner cruises, as well as several restaurants and many shops.

Trolley/bus transportation is available 1 block away, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. (to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays).

Great location minutes to the beach and grocery store liquor store pharmacy, great restaurants. Perfect place for a couple has everything you need to dine in definitely would go back it's a little dated but kept in great condition and the price reflects that 5 out of five.

Nice little place, perfect for me and my husband, toward the end of the complex closest to the beach, so maybe a five minute walk, Winn Dixie, cvs across the road, restaurants and beach shopping within walking distance if you don’t have a car catch the jolly trolley, chairs umbrella floats for the beach, two beautiful pools, gated property so you feel safe, left a few things in apartment and robin the cleaning lady called and mailed them to me, would come back again!

This cozy apartment is perfect for a couple. It is well stocked with everything you could need. My husband and i contacted the owner for help getting in. We had never used a lockbox before. She was helpful and immediately got us help. She made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be regulars.

We had an awesome time at this condo. Especially loved that everything we needed was in walking distance: beach, grocery store, restaurants and bars... The condo was the perfect size for the two of us. The living room furniture is newer as showed in the (old) picture on Vrbo. We are already planning to come back next year.

The condo was as described. Good location. Quiet, gated complex. Beach and stores just a short walk. Manager is very accommodating. Although you could technically sleep 4 persons with the converting sofa, space would be really tight and the living room guests would have to go through the bedroom to use the bathroom facilities.

We had a wonderful time. The place was very clean and cozy. Had everything we needed. The house keeper Robin was great. Help us with the TV . Also recommend places to go. We went to so many places. Perfect location!
Madeira beach os one of my favorite beaches and the condo is also located near a grocery store and other restaurants. It's in the middle of Honeymoon beach and Fort De Soto and reasonable distance from the city of Tampa. Quiet at night and private feel. Thank you so much for your southern hospitality! I had a beautiful and memorable stay!

We enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed being by the bay and the beach. We loved the park next to the community. There were many places to eat close by. We enjoyed taking a sunset cruise form John's pass. We hope to visit again one day.

LOVED IT!!
The photos in this listing really don't do this place justice. EVERYTHING was as listed & better. My sister & her family stayed in a condo 3 buildings down from mine & they loved my place! The location was fantastic & truly within walking distance to so many things! I walked over to the beach every day (maybe a 5 min walk). It took longer to cross the street than it did to walk over. The owners have a great supply of beach items! There are 2 umbrellas, 5 beach chairs, a bag, a styrofoam cooler, some toys & all in a box on the screened in porch. The bed was SO comfy!! I'm a little short so the first night I had to jump up onto the bed but I found a little foot stool in the closet & used that the rest of the time. There were plenty of bath towels & beach towels, laundry detergent, shampoos, etc... The kitchen was well stocked with various utensils, pots, pans & even a couple of crock pots. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed how clean everything was in & around the condo. I stayed alone in my space but felt very safe & even enjoyed walks along the marina at night by myself. The owners have everything labeled & instructions for every detail. I never used the pool but did check those areas out & they were really nice. My family & I all agreed if we come back to this area, we will just fly to Tampa, Uber to our place & walk everywhere. You really don't need a car while you're here. BE SURE to go to Crabby Bill's in Reddington Beach!! Someone told us about it on our last day & it was the best place for seafood & entertainment in a fun place. There is a Dollar Tree, CVS & Winn Dixie literally across the street from the complex. Thank you for sharing your wonderful place with us!!

Hidden gem
This condo is a hidden gem. It has a great location, property is well kept, nice screened in patio, ground floor with parking just a few feet away, had everything we needed inside, great pool area, and is a gated property. The bed is only a full and pretty firm but everything else makes up for that. We were so happy to have found such a great place to stay!!

Mad Beach getaway
The condo complex was well maintained and quiet. Just minutes from the beach and some great restaurants. Loved starting my morning eating breakfast at the marina watching the sunrise. We saw dolphins everyday and my husband had a blast fishing! Our condo was well equipped and comfortable. Shopping was right across the street if we needed anything. I highly recommend!
