Grey Eagle Cottage - Cottonwood Properties

Come take in some fresh mountain air! Strict cleaning standards are in place, trails are open for hiking, and breweries are serving local beer. One of Black Mountain's sweetest vacation rentals! Newly remodeled, cozy, and located less than one mile from beautiful downtown Black Mountain. Relax in the hot tub or by the fire pit in the large, fenced-in backyard. Wood is provided in the shed, as well as two bicycles for exploring the area.

This home is Pet Friendly, should you choose to bring a pet there will be a $75 pet fee added to your reservation, with $35 for each additional pet. We advertise on multiple platforms and sometimes our pet fee does not populate in your reservation. If you decide to bring a pet, please notify the host, and we will add your $75 pet fee to your reservation. Failure to notify us of the pet will result in a $250 penalty.

Beautiful retreat
Great location, great back yard for the two dogs. The house is located minutes from downtown Black Mountain. The porches had plenty of outside furniture to sit and relax. The hot tube was clean and ready to use. There was ample room for three cars to park. The house was just the right size for six adults. There is an about an eight inch step down to the master bedroom, in case of bad knees or older dogs. Overall, this house was comfortable for our stay.

Perfect getaway
We had a wonderful weekend getaway with family. The hot tub was absolutely perfect for morning coffee or after a day walking downtown. It's just a mile from downtown and still close to Asheville if you want to go there. We would certainly recommend

Autumn Wedding Stay
Great location. Convenient to go into Black Mountain. Plenty of room for the 6 of us that stayed there. Nice backyard for our dog to play around in. Enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. We’d stay here again.

Location Location
This property was perfect for our wedding weekend. We were able to enjoy the beautiful backyard. We had a fire in the fire pit and relaxed in the hot tub. The 3 bathrooms made getting everyone ready for the big day a breeze. The location of this property was easy to get to and was very close to the center of all the shops, restraints and live fun music.
