Key Largo Vacation Paradise-KAWAMA TOWER

Sherry was wonderful to deal with. She and her family left everything in excellent condition. She also advised me of a couple of things I needed to know about.

Wendy et al were wonderful guests. They are welcome back and highly recommend them to any other hosts. They had the unfortunate experience of the kitchen microwave not working (but I have a back up in the guest room)...and the washer stopped working propertly. Thanks to Wendy letting me know of these issues to me so I am able to get them taken care of quickly.

For now there is beach access, by nature of the keys and the coral reef system....waters near the shore are shallow. There is a portion of the beach are which is fenced (but there are seats on both sides of the fence and I have additional chairs in the condo laundry room). The beaches of the keys are typically packed sand, there is a coral rock barrier which protects the beach (or it wouldn't be there for long). My favorite is the lagoon....great for swimming long laps or just hanging out. The floats are convenient to get up on to soak up some sun.

The condo is thoroughly, professionally after each rental. So this is a gross exaggeration. A steamer is used to clean the floors...this cleans better than any mop. There is no way the condo was dirty and dusty. It is unfortunate that the tiles I chose have grooves which impossible to get 'completely' clean and out so people think the floors are dirty.

Everything was left as expected. People need to read the information I send them and they won't be surprised that the beds are not made but that clean folded sheets are at the end of the bed ready to be made. They also asked for the lock box i - which is in the information that is sent to access the apartment. It's a lot of information, but it is all there. I also them a message that there was laundry left in the dryer that the cleaner would come and put away - also not read...and they apparently got to it before the cleaner did.

So pleased you enjoyed your stay at my Condo at Kawama. My favorite for diving is Conch Republic and the shop I go out with the most when I don't go privately. Quiescense is the other that I have gone with on occasion, they have 6 packs. Very nice for a small group you can pretty much choose where you want to dive in the area. You're certainly welcome back any time.

Thanks - what an observant young lady. I do my best to keep things well stocked. I can't take all the praise, as much of the small extras have been left by someone else. Since I hate to see waste, I keep items that my be useful. Pleased to see that it helped you out! Come again for a visit any time.

As I already explained...but you chose to ignore...1) I only got your text message today after you had gone. This happens occasionally, and I BELIEVE i have in my information somewhere, that if you try to reach me, and don't get a response, to call again...I have no reason to hide from anyone. Unfortunately, bugs are part of the tropics and apparently roaches do love the warm weather too and especially like to visit when food is left out on the counter (as you said WAS done) - even though they are not invited. This is why I have everything in the kitchen cabinets sealed in containers. Again, I ALWAYS respond, But I have to get the message before I can do that. You chose to text me, it didn't come through, and it turns out, as you mentioned the wifi didn't work your last day...that Hotwire, which didn't use the wifi password I gave them initially, changed the one they told me and used the original one I gave them....BUT I was never advised. I found out today with the new Rental check in, and I had them try 3 versions of the same password, upper and lower case letters...and got it...Hotwire changed it to ALL CAPS, only didn't let me know! BTW I sent a message to my cleaner to be sure she sprays in the future when she cleans and she advised that she always does spray, even though I never requested it previously. I do keep bug spray is in the closet, so if you had asked or even looked (as you did to find a plunger when you needed it for the toilet) you didn't need to go buy any spray, there's plenty there if it's needed. Sleeping in the car is a bit of an extreme measure when you see a roach or two. Unfortunately, when I purchased the tile for this condo, I chose a porcelain tile which had a finish that has grooves in it, which I didn't realize would hold dirt. You can clean that tile, every day, even 10 times a day, you cannot get the dirt out of the small grooves in it. An oversight and nothing that I can do about it now, re-tiling the place is out of the question!
