Amazing Farmhouse near Olympia
This is an amazing property and one of the best rentals I have seen. The house is spacious with four bedrooms and 2.5 baths. It is beautifully decorated and the backyard farm and surrounding areas are stunning. Our teenaged girls loved meeting Bullet, the donkey. The kitchen had everything we needed and the house was very clean. The location is about 15 minutes from the Olympia peninsula. The host was responsive and we would definitely love to stay here again.

Lovely Girls Weekend
A sweet weekend at the farm for 6 women. We enjoyed the view, hanging out with Bully the donkey, and the chorus of birds in the early morning. Plenty of room to spread out in common areas, comfortable beds, and thoughtful touches.

Farm meadow view
Great spacious living room kitchen area with wonderful meadow view. Large master with masterbath that is semi seperated from adjacent 3 bedrooms that share apt size bathroom. Small tv monitor in nice living room with adjacent den area for remote work. Farm animals in adjacent pasture. I would rate this 4.5 stars if allowed.

Delightful farmhouse stay
This farm was the perfect setting for our family birthday celebration. We were impressed with the stunning location with a view that brought the outside in, bathing the rooms in natural light. The living and family rooms were thoughtfully appointed with comfortable sofas and chairs to encourage conversation and relaxation. The kitchen was well appointed and each appliance was excellent, making the chefs quite happy. Whether cooking or sitting around the fireplace, we could always see flocks of birds or the herd of cattle and sheep against the backdrop of the hills in this emerald valley. We all felt as if we had traveled far away to a quiet secluded spot, though in actuality some of us were minutes from our home in Olympia. A memorable stay indeed!!!

Hi, I'm Brooke. I have been hosting for 5-years on another platform and am excited to offer our guesthouse on VRBO! Our whole family takes part in caring for our farm and the animals each day, rain or shine. It’s very important to us that our children are raised to appreciate and respect the beauty of farm life. Animals & producing nourishing products provide a sense of responsibility and so much joy to our family. We are committed to celebrating the history of the area and welcome you to share in the beauty of the farm.

Why they chose this property

Both my spouse & I grew up in Thurston County so after being away for about 10-years we returned to raise our family where we were raised. Thurston County has a long agricultural history. We feel very lucky to wake every morning and have the farm's serenity surround us. We hope our guests enjoy their time at the farm too.

What makes this property unique

Hayday Heritage Farm was established in July 2011 when our family purchased part of the historical Endicott pioneer homestead. When the Endicott family arrived from Indiana in 1888, they brought with them a Black Walnut seedling. The beautiful walnut tree that grew from that seed is the centerpiece of the farm today and is registered as a historical landmark. On our working farm we raise quality grass hay and registered Black Angus. Our three kids are active in 4-H and raise market steers each year to be sold at the Thurston County Youth Market Sale. Other animals that make a home here include a few goats & sheep, chickens and a donkey named Bullet. We have also raised, trained and lived with Australian Cattle Dogs for over 25 years.
