Deer Manor Cabin at Lake Texoma, Pet-Friendly!

We’ve taken the effort out of making memories and great experiences!

Deer Manor is a completely remodeled Lake Texoma cabin, with lots of space, privacy, and world-class fishing! The cabin is surrounded by trees, but has a long open yard that backs up to 300+ acres of heavily forested Corps of Engineers property which supports an abundance of wildlife, such as turkey, raccoon, foxes, and of course, deer. Start your morning off with coffee from the living room’s HUGE picture windows overlooking our beautifully treed property watching the birds, and other wildlife.

Good hiking/walking trails through the Corps property, and straight to the lake shore, but don’t stop there; feel free to satisfy your wanderlust and hike the many trails that wind their way through the forest.

We provide quality recreational equipment, and lots of fun activities on the property. You'll have access to fishing poles and tackle and kayaks. We have two great geocaching courses, a tire-swing, a basketball court, horseshoes, corn-hole, a selection of board games and a small library with great books about adventure and woodcraft.

Our cabin has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 living room/dining area, and a well-appointed kitchen. Our property is functional, affordable, and was very well thought-out in preparing it for you and your family.

Absolutely NO riding on trails or in yard. Any violation of golf cart rules will result in a loss of full $300 damage deposit.

You will be responsible for any damage to the rental property caused by you or your party during your stay.

Located in Pottsboro, this cabin is on a lake. Frontier Village and Eisenhower Birthplace State Historic Site are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Preston Club Golf Course and Homestead Winery at Denison. Red River Railroad Museum and Harber Wildlife Museum are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Another perfect stay!
Beautiful home near Lake Texoma. This was our 2nd stay. Already planning another. The land is surrounded by large trees and is gated, which is a nice privacy feature. We love!!

Feel like you’ve gotten away
Loved the place, the big windows let you enjoy the view, especially when its over 100 degrees. Only an hour away but feels like you’ve gotten away from the hustle and bustle of life. Very quiet, no noise other than the animals. Had a little mix up in the beginning but Daryl took care of us and we are grateful for that! Reason for the 4 star on cleanliness.
