Great location and host
This property was well equipped for our needs with plenty of linens, drinking water, and basic paper goods and toiletries. We didn't cook much but kitchen seemed adequate, with good counter space. Our hostess was great and gave us a really nice intro to the area and some advice which we were able to act on straightaway - the Friday tianguis just a block over was *perfect* for a lunch of small tastes - a calamari tostada here, a blue corn tlacoya there, a chiccharon gordita - and to pick up some beautifully ripe fruit. There are a couple of oddities - the washing machine is hooked up only to the hot water - but these were explained to us ahead of time. Claudia was also very good with communicating ahead of our arrival, and was generous with a late checkout. I took off a star because I have high cleanliness standards. Although the floor was swept, it wasn't mopped and I didn't feel comfortable going barefoot. Sheets were clean, but bedspreads weren't necessarily. And internet did not work after the first day despite multiple resets (although also certainly possible this was outside owners control).

Beware -probable scam
The property owner called the NIGHT BEFORE we were supposed to arrive saying we could not stay there because of an issue with the elevator. We said we would be fine taking the stairs, she responded saying it was simply ‘not possible’ without any further explanation. She then offered an alternate place that was much smaller with cats (!) living in it. I believe this was a scam and have read about this exact thing happening on these websites. In the end I was grateful that we were able to cancel and get a full refund. Interestingly enough, immediately after we cancelled the property was once again available to rent!! Guess they got the elevator fixed....

Great choice
We traveled to MX for a family celebration. This was a great location for the events and sightseeing. Neighborhood felt safe, lots of activity but pretty quiet at night. Beds are comfortable and kitchen is large. Love the view from living area!
