Oceanfront 3BR/2BA Condo at Sandy Beach 1611

No need to look any further! This 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo is located off 2nd Avenue North at the gorgeous Sandy Beach Resort. It's right beside 2nd Avenue Piere where you can enjoy fishing, food and fun! Just a few blocks away is Family Kingdom and about 12 blocks away is the famous Skywheel!

Enjoy a STUNNING view of the Atlantic Ocean from your private oceanfront balcony! This unit can comfortably sleep 8 guests with king size beds in each of the bedrooms and a queen sleeper sofa. The master bedroom has access to the balcony. It is not a private separate balcony but rather connected to the same balcony accessed from the living area.The bathrooms and kitchen have tile floors and granite countertops. The kitchen comes with stainless steel appliances and is stocked with pots, pans, utensils, silverware and dishes! There are 2 full baths and the master bathroom features a jetted tub. For your convenience, there is a washer and dryer in the unit.

Right next to Sandy Beach Resort is the famous Second Avenue Pier! This features the Pier House Restaurant which has a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu and an open-air bar (seasonal hours)! Not to mention a remarkable view of the Atlantic Ocean! For a small fee, you can enjoy some fishing ($2 General Admission or $10 daily fishing pass)! **A SC fishing license is NOT required to fish on the pier. (they purchase a commercial license).

Sandy Beach is within walking distance of some of Myrtle Beach's most loved attractions including Family Kingdom, Splashes Oceanfront Water Park, and the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel!

Please note there is a light switch on the counter that controls the dishwasher. If the switch is off, the dishwasher is off.

Family beach trip
Family had a great time. Perfect location surrounded by a lot of things to do. The room was disappointing need to be UPDATED !!! Furniture was old, carpet was old, refrigerator had dents on the doors, oven didn’t work properly. But the resort was nice. Would stay again in a different room.

We enjoyed the pools and being ocean front
We asked to check in a little early as we were traveling with young children & were told no, because the cleaning crew was getting the room ready. That was understandable except for the fact that the carpeting was absolutely filthy, with crumbs all over. Other than the floors being dirty, we enjoyed the three bedrooms and the balcony facing the ocean. There was a vacuum in the unit so we were able to clean the floors. The pools and hot tub as well as the beach access made our stay a memorable time for our family. It was in a convenient location with shopping and restaurants close by.

Floors very dirty- dirtiest we have ever rented and we have been renting for years. Sheets did not fit one of the beds. Light fixture on wall broken. Poor customer service with property management. Repeatedly denied or said nothing they could do. Bring own trash bags if using more than one. They will not provide.

Upon arrival, we had to clean the entire room. Wipe everything down with Lysol wipes, vacuum the floors, and mop the tile floors. The refrigerator did not work so maintenance had to come look at it, spoiling the groceries we bought assuming it was operational. Ad also said it had 2 queen beds and 1 room with 2 full. All three rooms had queen beds so one group was on an air mattress the entire stay.

Enjoyable stay
Stayed here with my family and my parents. Overall experience is great. Nice location and view from the balcony. Clean beds and clean bathrooms. Enough towels and toilet paper. Unit had body boards for waves, which was very nice. Unit had vacuum cleaner and broom to keep the place clean. Some cons: Some utensils were not clean, so we ended up washing all the dishes, silverware and needed utensils just to make sure it all was clean for our use. Also, unit was missing couple light bulbs in the dinner/kitchen area, and the dimmer for over the counter lights was broken , so there was not enough light in the evening. Overall liked it very much and would definitely recommend it.
