Mistake
The property owner didn't show up to let us in but had a lock box on the gate with the key. No cookware in the kitchen and it was cluttered. Washing machine had no dial but would have to be turned on with a pair of pliers, Both garbage cans in garage were filled land the lids wouldn't even close. Was to be no pets but when we arrived the patio door was open and a cat in the yard. Owners girl friend was there cleaning, pet dish in kitchen and the girl friend said she would go get some cat food and could we feed the cat. WE LEFT AN HOUR AFTER GETTING THERE AND HEADED BACK TO NORTHERN CALIFORNIA. HOME NOT UP TO OUR STANDARDS. LOST MY MONTHS RENT AND HERE IT IS FEBRUARY 1 AND AFTER MANY PHONE CALLS TO THE OWNER I STILL HAVE NOT GOT OUR CLEANING DEPOSIT BACK. I HAVE RENTED MANY TIMES FROM VRBO AND THIS IS MY FIRST BAD EXPERIENCE.
