Beautiful Thanksgiving visit
Great location close to Joshua Tree National Park. Super quiet, really relaxing getaway. Amazing view of stars from here. Home is tastefully decorated with lovely art and desert charm, very spacious home, very clean, and a well-equipped kitchen. Good wi-fi but became overloaded with 3 of us at times (thankfully no one was trying to work remotely in our group). Driveway has a steep entrance but take it slow and per host's instructions. Wall heaters were helpful for the cold November nights we stayed, bring warm PJs if travelling this time of year.

Very convenient to 29 Palms Oasis Visitors Center for Joshua Tree National Park
Loved the mid-century furnishings and the French type doors. Property is 2 miles from main hwy away from traffic in quiet neighborhood. Obvious that owner has a fondness for found art. Very responsive to our suggestions.

Dedicated to architectural preservation and conservation of the desert I chose this property because of it vintage character and the role the property played in the community as a local nursery. The property operated as a local nursery for many decades many locals shopped here for the gardening and landscaping need.

Why they chose this property

This remodeled solar powered mid-century home has been updated throughout including new flooring, and heating/air-conditioning system and a beautiful new kitchen. The bathroom has been updated. This home as beautifully landscaped front yard. The private back-yard patios and . Privacy is enhanced by the cul-de-sac location and access is easy via paved roads.

What makes this property unique

Vintage furnishing and a home in an established local neighborhood that is close to downtown 29 Palms, Joshua Tree National Park and the 29 Palms Marine Base. The property is largely powered by the solar panels on the roof and has plenty of space in back where a former local nursery operated for many years.
