About the area
Mammoth Lakes
This bed & breakfast is located in Mammoth Lakes. Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort and Village Gondola Station are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Mammoth Mountain and Lake Mary.
The place is really simple, but it was comfortable, quiet, and I had everything I needed. The floors could have been swept a little more, and maybe an ice machine would have been helpful. I was there 3 days and didn't see an employee once; however, they had everything covered up front, and I really didn't need anyone! Amazing! I would stay here again!
Great cozy place, no frills but perfect crashpad for skiing. Parking was a bit limited but manageable.

Let me start with a warning. This property is listed as accepting dogs, but despite making the booking for two adults and a dog there was no mention of a pet fee until check-in, which was also when we were told that dogs are not allowed in the room unattended. These are details that need to be clearly disclosed before booking.
Other than that, the room was ok - very small but clean. Shower was almost useless very little water pressure and the hot water ran out quickly. For the price we paid after all the fees are tacked on I don't think this was a great option.
Overall great stay with a wonderful location. Property was nice and clean, wishing it wasn't covid because the hostel / hotel situation seems like it would have been very social and fun.
