Absolutely NO PETS OF ANY KIND. We have a family member that frequents the cabin and is SEVERELY allergic to pet hair. Please don’t try to sneak any animals in. If you sneak in a pet there will be an extra $150 fee added and you will be asked to leave the property.

Please message us BEFORE booking if you have more than 4 people. If you have more than 4 adults please do not book this cabin. Our cabin is cozy and quaint and can not handle large groups of people. It is on a shared well system and sneaking in extra guest will only tax the system and cause you to run out of water.

This cabin is listed as a 2 bedroom. Some guests may not be familiar with the cabin style architecture and not realize the upstairs bedroom has NO door. It is a loft style bedroom that is open to the downstairs living area. There is a locking bathroom in the loft that DOES have its own door.

Also, be aware that this cabin in located in the woods, on top of a mountain. You may encounter a daddy-long-leg (or two) and some cobwebs. Our cleaners do their best to remove these before your stay but they seem to come back often. Don’t freak out, they are harmless and are just sharing the space with you.

No refunds will be given due to bad weather or acts of nature that are out of our control.

As far as the roads go, the journey to our cabin is not that steep. It may scare you if you are unfamiliar with the windy, Tennessee roads. The driveway itself is not steep and if you've been to the area before, you'll have no trouble. 4-wheel drive may only be needed in inclement winter weather. We do not offer refunds for weather, so be prepared to wait out a snow storm. While snow is rare, our winter guests hope for it, as it makes the mountains more beautiful. There are some hills and curves to navigate, but nothing extreme. After all, you can’t expect to stay in the mountains...without driving up a mountain.

Uber will come to the cabin and take you straight to the action. Although lately they have been very short staffed so sometimes you can not secure a cab. Just plan accordingly

Absolutely no fires! Unauthorized fires (including candles) will be charged $50 plus damages.

Great place!!
Property was so clean and peaceful. View was amazing! My kids loved the hot tub and the pool table and staying up in the loft. Plenty of amenities and a short drive into town, but a much more peaceful stay than being in town. Loved it! Host was very quick to respond and check-in was so easy. Thanks!!

Gorgeous Spring Break in the mountains
Our family (2 grandparents, teenage son, husband and myself) stayed in this cabin for spring break week. It was wonderful! There was plenty of room for us to spread out some. We enjoyed spending time on the deck for meals, bird watching, stargazing and of course the hot tub! The nights were still chilly, so the fireplace was amazing. The whole family loved the pool table! The kitchen was well equipped, nothing we felt was missing. Everything was in perfect working condition. The location was great, far enough away from the crowds, but not too far away! The mountain roads up to the cabin were a little scary the first couple times up and down, but after a few trips, it was more fun than anything. Some of the areas are steep, but even the grandparents VW Golf made it up and down with no issues. Overall, this was a great place to stay! We would definitely stay again in the future!
