About this property

Eight-acre ranchette in rustic setting at the north-western edge of town

Single level 1700 sq-ft two-bedroom home with sitting area out front and 700 sq-ft of covered porch out back and manicured lawn area. Modern master bedroom suite with spacious full bath including sunken concrete tub and shower. Second bedroom with one single bed. Fully equipped large kitchen with expansive dining area seating eight or more comfortably. Massive 700 sq-ft wooden cabin-like living space with mid-century fireplace. Adjacent bathroom with shower. Lots of outdoor covered and porch with rustic dining table. Green yard with stringed bulbs and heated outdoor shower. Uncovered seating area out front for spectacular sunsets and ideal stargazing - west facing with no street or town lights!

The home is owned by two artists whose artworks are on display. There is a central sound system with speakers in the dining and living areas, as well as outdoors. Additional computer speakers in living room. High speed wi-fi, heating/cooling units in bedrooms, with central swamp cooler, and ceiling fans throughout. Gorgeous landscape in all directions.

The place is ideal for couples and small families requiring room and tranquility. It's spacious in and out, airy with lots of windows and light. While it's out of the fray of downtown, it's a short walk, bike ride or drive to Judd, Chinati, coffeehouses, restaurants, supermarkets and shops.

PETS: We do allow pets but to ensure cleanliness we are limiting pets to three. Each pet requires a $35 cleaning fee. Because every pet is different, we have no idea the amount of cleaning that will be required. Please be respectful and clean up after your pet. Absolutely no pets on furniture and please do not allow your pets to roam in the yard without supervision. We have neighbors that have chickens and we do not want to upset them in any way. Thanks for your cooperation!

Weekend in Marfa
Little Pink was a perfect accommodation for 2 friends visiting Marfa for Trans Pecos festival. Comfy master bed and bath. Nice back patio for morning, afternoon or evening sits.

Spring Break stay
We stayed two nights in the ‘pink house’! It was beautiful and cozy just like the pictures showed. We loved the quietness and closeness to town. It had all of the amenities we needed to have a comfortable stay. The kids loved all the books and games and said it was their favorite house we’ve ever stayed in!

Fun lodging! Love the vibe and art
I loved this property. The layout of the bedrooms was a little different, in that you have to go through one to get to the master suite, but we didn't mind since the four staying there are family. The bathroom in the master suite was very cool- I only wish I could have figured out if I could take a bath in the massive tub. I loved all of the art, and the first half of the house is like the living room, with so much personality and almost log cabin-like. The sticker burrs were all over the rug and no matter what, seemed to just attack the bottom of our feet with no warning. It's the only real issue with the property, but we made light of it, preferring to compare them with the soot creatures from Hayao Miyazaki’s Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro Studio Ghibli movies, and saying they couldn't help but to be in the way. The property is near the train, but I don't think that's different from most homes in Marfa. I would stay here again if we come back with others, as it's too big for just two people. I didn't get to play with the sound system, or shower outside, but I wanted to!
