About this property

Rio Vista-Amazing Mountain & River Views! Great location & Private!

From the moment you turn off Hwy 259A into the Cordillera subdivision, your beautiful journey will begin to Rio Vista. From the winding road up the mountain to the stunning views of beautiful Broken Bow Lake, there is not another area like it in Hochatown. Colorado views right here in southeast Oklahoma! When you arrive at Rio Vista, you will find it waiting for you on the mountaintop on 3 acres. When you walk onto the porch the first thing will notice is the unbelievable view, it will almost seem surreal. You will hear the sound of Mountain Fork River flowing below.

The cabin and décor were inspired by Ralph Lauren's Double RL Ranch located in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. When you enter the living room you will again be taken aback by the spectacular mountain view of the Quachita Mountains. It feels as if you are viewing a framed mountain painting. The living room and kitchen are an open concept. The focal point of the area is a massive real rock fireplace. You definitely get a warm lodge feel with the fireplace, furnishings and chinked walls. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. You can enjoy watching TV that is hidden in the cabinets while cooking. The dining table will seat 10 and the bar has 4 bar stools.

Mountain Views can be enjoyed from all rooms of the cabin. You can see the beautiful rock bluff and the river in the distance year round from certain areas of the cabin. When the leaves fall you can see much of the river below.

The game room has a pool table and sitting areas to play games. There is a tv in this room also. There are barn doors to separate this room from the living room. You access the stairs to the upstairs bedrooms from this room.

The King master bedroom and bath are downstairs. While relaxing in the copper pedestal tub you can enjoy the mountain-view. You can also enjoy the same view from the beautiful glass top travertine shower. His and her sinks, granite counter tops and walk in closet compliment this bathroom.

There are different mountain views from every bedroom of this cabin. The upstairs King bedrooms give you an old west feeling from the wood plank floors and dark ceilings and trim to the metal bed frames with antique nightstands. There are two bedrooms on each end of the cabin and two full baths. There is also an open loft upstairs with a couch that makes into a bed and beanbag sitting area.

Whether it is sitting around the outdoor fire pit, lounging in the hot tub, or sitting at one of the various outdoor lounging areas you can enjoy the phenomenal view!

There is a sound system that is connected to the living room, kitchen, game room and out door hot tub.

SIDE NOTE: We do have the porch on the view side completely railed off with a gate that goes to the fire pit. We have put a rock barrier on the edge by the fire pit. We recommend for your safety to stay off the boulder rock barrier.

OUTDOOR SURVEILLANCE cameras  are located at both main entrances of the house pointed towards the parking area.

This was great
We loved every second of our stay. When we walked in the door it was bursting with Christmas cheer. Every television had Christmas something on it. Pretty tree. Homey. Clean. We will def Girly be back.

Wonderful Fall Stay
our family of eight had a great time in this beautiful home. If we had the opportunity to change anything, not a single thing could we think of. We have had the pleasure of staying in several Park homes, Rio Vista is our favorite. The fire pit, spa and fireplace were special as our weather was perfect. Thank you to the home owner for sharing your home with our family.

Perfect Girls Weekend
This house was absolutely perfect for our girls weekend. Located very convenient to the park and town, but remote enough that we feel secluded. Plus an amazing view. It had all the amenities we needed! Super comfy king beds!
