Sugar Shack Lodge - 1930's Cabin

The Sugar Shack is a stunning newly remodeled 1930's cabin available to rent to guest 26 years of age or older and offers unique modern charm. The front of the cabin faces Pikes Peak and offers one of the best views in town! It's located in the heart of downtown and only two blocks walk to main street, parks, restaurants, bakery, churches, coffee shops, a brewery and more. It's 1 block from the Farmers Market which is a must in the summer! The Dinosaur Resource Center is about a 4-block walk.

The Sugar Shack offers a unique eclectic environment with a cozy and inviting atmosphere for gatherings with family or friends, a romantic getaway, or to recharge, unwind and indulge in relaxation with no hidden fees. As a bonus, it offers an upstairs loft with a double bed and a relaxing twin swing bed in the enclosed porch for reading or napping.

Outdoor living - the Sugar Shack offers an inviting and large outdoor area on property with an outdoor fire pit and some of the best views of Pikes Peak the town has to offer. Relax is the 4-person hot tub and "soak" in the views. Chill in the hammock and look for deer. They love hanging out at the Sugar Shack. It's the perfect place for outdoor enjoyment! You'll find outdoor tables and chairs, picnic table with breath taking views of Pikes Peak and a Weber gas grill for grilling out with friends or family.
Dog Friendly Cabin - want to bring Fido? Woodland Park is a dog's paradise! The Sugar Shack is completely fenced in. It's walking distance to parks and hiking trails, lakes and reservoirs are just out the door. Maximum of 2 dogs allowed. If you bring your dog, we kindly ask: * Please, no dogs allowed on beds for furniture! *Tell us a little about Fido. *No chewers * Dog mush have all shots up to date. * Must be kenneled at all times if you leave the cabin* To keep all of your damage deposit, please clean up after your pet in the outdoor areas and inside the cabin and prior to your departure. *** $30- pet cleaning fee ****** Pets - if unauthorized pets are in the cabin, it will result in an automatic $150 from your damage deposit.

Amenities include WIFI, a 4-person hot tub with beautiful views of Rampart Range, a Weber gas grill, outdoor picnic table with the best views in town of Pikes Peak.

The kitchen is stocked with items to prepare home cooked meals. It has unique retro appliances, a full refrigerator with freezer, a 4-burner gas stove top with griddle, oven, microwave, drip retro coffee maker, coffee, tea's, spices and more. The dining room table is large and will accommodate six with stunning views of Pikes Peak.

The bedrooms are comfortable and have plush bedding. A full-size Samsung washer and dryer is located in the basement with the foosball table and smart TV. Other conveniences include shampoo, conditioner, blow dryer, hand soap, body soap, towels and hot tub towels.

For entertainment, the Sugar Shack has a full-size foosball table, 3 LED smart 4K Fire TV's that offer numerous apps along with Dish Satellite for local news and national sporting events. (TV's are in living room, Queen room and Rec room in the basement.) There are also indoor and outdoor games for all ages, books for adults and children as well as coloring book and crayons for the kiddos.

Location - Sugar Shack is in the heart of downtown. One block walk to parks and main street where you will find shopping, coffee shops, restaurants, a brewery and more. It's a 4 block walk to the Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center and the local movie theatre. The Aquatic Center is a 7 block walk and 3 miles to Charis Bible College. The Sugar Shack is a short drive to Santa's Work Shop, entrance to Pikes Peak, CO Wolf & Wildlife, Manitou Cliff Dwellings, Cave of the Winds, Manitou Springs, Old Colorado City, Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs and Cheyenne Zoo. Cripple Creek - 27 miles, Eleven Mile Reservoir - 30 miles, Royal George - 56 miles, Denver - 72 miles. Camping, hiking and fishing right down the street! Like skiing, but don't like the crowds or lodging cost? It's a gorgeous 1 hour and 40-minute drive to Breckenridge.

Bedding: Bedroom #1 - queen bed with plush bedding. Bedroom #2 - standard bed with plush bedding. Bedroom #3 - loft bedroom and has a standard bed and plush bedding *Please note the loft is accessible only by a ladder and all risk and liability associated with use of the loft is assumed by guest and particular attention required to small children. By booking this, the booking party assumes all responsibility for themselves and their guest.

*** Parties - please note, parties are not allowed in the Sugar Shack. If unauthorized parties take place, it will result in an automatic full deduction from your deposit + $1,000 fee. *Please note, cleaning fee for guest staying 15 nights or longer is $240.
