Cabin offers vaulted ceilings, wood accents throughout, gas fireplace, split bedroom floor plan and circular drive. Multi-use breakfast bar. Spacious covered front and rear decks. 5 mile drive to Ruidoso center. This home is just a few short minutes’ drive for all your mountain adventures. From Memorial Day to Labor Day you can enjoy watching live horse racing at the Ruidoso Downs Race Track. Fishing at Alto Lake is conveniently located 1.8 miles away or take a short drive to Grindstone Lake (8 miles away) where fishing is year round and the summer months offer swimming/kayaking and paddle boarding. The Inn of the Mountain Gods Casino is 10.9 miles away where you can enjoy gaming, golf, fishing, concerts, and family events. Ski Apache (13.5 miles away) allows for hiking, zip lining, skiing and snowboarding, with 11 lifts including New Mexico’s only passenger Gondola to the top. The winter months offer a chance to take the kids tubing at Ruidoso Winter Park (1.9 miles away). No matter when you plan your trip, there’s something for everyone. Clean property, cute cabin
Cabin was cute, had all the basic necessities and WiFi. Bring dvd’s and your own streaming devices if you like tv. The basic cable worked great but when we wanted to wind down there wasn’t many options. You do have to take trash out down the road but we left everyday so it was fine. Owner replied back promptly and was courteous.

We absolutely loved the property. It ranks as one of our favorite rentals in the country! The top rental by far in Ruidoso/Alto. We were really looking forward to the hot tub after skiing, but there is not one on the property.

Deer and horses love this place too!
We were here for our 50th anniversary since we went to Ruidoso on our honeymoon! The cabin is very nice, clean and just as represented, or better! We love the Alto area due to the openness and space between houses-and the deer and horses that roam through! The horses will walk right up and one almost followed me into the house! It’s a beautiful 10 minute drive to town, adding to the enjoyment. This cabin is just a few years old and is very spacious! It is furnished very well. Brandi provided all information needed in a timely fashion and everything worked out well! We will definitely return!
