Country Cottage Nestled Away in the City

A taste of the country while in the city! This property has gardens, forest, pastures, apiary, and seasonally hosts a small farm stand. A charcoal grill,A Fire Pit you & guest can share time outside & by request s’mores can be provided. A basketball goal and two tree swings for young ones. One of the few privately owned green spaces left in Charlotte, conveniently close to 3 major highways leading to the city and all surrounding areas. A private pond on the property can be fished, or go less than 1 mile to a nature preserve with trails, or a park with splash pads and pickle ball courts. All of the entertainment and amenities of the city are only a short drive away.

Great Location
We had a very enjoyable stay in Julia's cottage. The location is nice as you are removed from the hustle and bustle of the big city but are minutes from it and all the surrounding amenities. The cottage was extremely clean and comfortable and Julia responded quickly to our enquiries. I'd highly recommend her cottage if visiting the Charlotte area. Don.

Awesome cottage
We have stayed at the cottage 2 other times and each stay has been amazing. It is super clean and the area is quiet. The girls love the tree swing and the treats that Ms. Julia leaves for them. I would highly recommend staying here.

Incredible Stay!
Loved our stay at the cottage. Julia was super responsive and the cottage was by far the cleanest VRBO I have ever been in. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

Love this property!!
It's so nice to rent a property so close to the city yet still seem like you are out in the country. We love this property as it fits our family perfectly and it's well kept and clean. Ms. Julia's honey is an amazing treat each time we visit! Anytime we are in the area and need a place to stay this is top of our list! A+++ host!!!

We drive from IL for a family wedding and the cottage was exactly as described. Julia was an amazing hostess. My kids loved the tree swings and all of us loved exploring the property.

Why they chose this property

We are so proud to live on land that has been farmed in our family for generations! We enjoy nurturing the gardens and making sure there are plenty of flowers for the bees in the apiary by the pond. Speaking of the pond, it is stocked with bream, crappie, and bass- and don’t worry if you’ve forgotten your fishing pole, we’ll loan you one.

What makes this property unique

The house is yours, no shared space, so relax and enjoy yourselves! We hire a professional cleaner to make sure it is sparkling clean when you arrive. You can expect a tasty treat from the organic garden or the bees to welcome you upon arrival, just check the kitchen counter.
