Perfect location!
This is one of best houses we have ever stayed at. Perfect location for a visit to Blairsville, Hiawasee, Dahlonega and all of the many wineries. There is also lots of hiking and antiquing to do. We also were so pleased with how friendly and welcoming everyone was. The best part of this house is that it is located right on Nottley River. My husband and I had coffee every morning on the back deck watching the river and the wildlife, and a glass of wine at night. We even watched fishermen float down the river and they even gave my husband excellent tips on how to catch trout. He was to used to catching catfish! Haha. If we could give this house more than 5 stars we would. A definite hidden gem!!!

Fall Mountain Trip 2023
My husband and I along with our friends, John and Lynda, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this amazing, cozy cabin. Everything was very nice and convenient. The heart of pine flooring and walls gave the cabin such a warm, welcoming feeling. The outside porch and deck which overlooks the Nottley River was a retreat in itself. We spent a lot of time there just enjoying the sound of the water and the beautiful fall foliage. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit at night with a nice campfire. The neighborhood is very pretty and the neighbors are so friendly. We even made friends with a precious dog named Rocky who chose to spend the day with us. We met him as we walked around the neighborhood. His “dad” came and got him in the golf cart after a while though. We enjoyed apple and peach pie from Mercier’s and cooked dinner there at the cabin each night. Took a few scenic drives and ate lunch out … love Sawmill Restaurant and Hole in the Wall, both in Blairsville. Cristin was extremely responsive and a perfect hostess for any questions we had. We highly recommend this adorable cabin and definitely plan to return in the future!

Mom's trip
Property was in quiet neighborhood, but close to highway. Cristin was quick to communicate when we needed to. Location is not far from town (about 8 miles) which was nice since Mom ended up in the hospital for a couple days. Mom enjoyed sitting on the porch looking at the river. Beds were comfortable and fireplace really set the mood for relaxation. Had everything we needed.

Uneventful
We didn't spend much time at the cabin because of the wedding and related events we were attending, but the cabin is conveniently located to Blairsville, the Southern Trees wedding venue, Vogel State Park and several other trails.

We are local owners making sure that you and your family fall in love with the North Georgia Mountains as we did. This cabin is a place where Nana and Papa can escape the polar vortex’s of Northern Michigan and give us a reprieve from our kids (I mean they get a reprieve from the snow). When they are not staying near us, we love sharing the beauty of North Georgia. We hope you love it as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

Blairsville, between it all! This property offers a great jumping off point to many adventures. Centrally located, you are able to explore a variety of mountain towns without the long mountain drives.

What makes this property unique

Not just near the river, but on the river, you couldn't be closer.
