I need to start with, I dont normally write reviews and hate reading reviews where little things are pointed out that are not a big deal or wont affect the trip.
But in this case, I needed to point out some things that bothered both me and my wife. I know it appears like I am contradicting myself with a few of the high star ratings but you will understand when i'm done
First the positive:
-The property is everything that is shown in the pics. It looks exactly the way it did online.
-The check in with codes and communication was good with the property owner.
Second the negative
-The property as a whole is not vacation friendly
-The people working at the unit everyday are not friendly and to make it worse they just stare at you like you are trespassing. There was never a "hello", may i help you, is there anything you need. Just the weird stare down. like you look away first
-Big brother is watching, which creeped my wife out and made her feel they were watching all the time (ex. My wife was smoking outside by the pool. Next day I get email telling me how it is against rules and she needs to go outside the gate. I said I would take her out next time but she did that cause there are numerous aggressive homeless people right outside the gate and she was scared. They replied thank you for taking care of that but never adressed the danger outside)
-The encampment of fighting loud aggressive homless people right outside the gate. This was such a concern we left nothing important in the car at night
-The pool is not maintained because eveyday it rained, like it does in florida, the level kept getting higher and higher. This tells me it is not running because there is no circulation of the water plus no chlorine, which tranlates to a clear but dirty pool. We never used it, like normal people do on vacation because BIG Brother is watching (creepy)
-If you do go to the pool or beach, Anything wet in the unit will stay wet all week. Nothing drys including bath towels, which they are in serious need of a dehumidifier because with the window units, it begins to smell moldy
-It got to the point that we just staed out all day and basically just slept there and left early in the morning again.
-And bring beach towels and beach chairs because non of that is there as listed.
Listen, take this review any way you want. If your young and just need somewhere to rest your head its great but if your older and need relaxation this is not the place for you.
